Top Cafes in Colden common, Hampshire

The feel of a real family restaurant, without the fights and the tantrums 😀. The service was attentive and caring with the added charm of the owners looking after their young son who was eating and drawing near us. All the dishes were delicious. Looking after my wife's allergy was sensitive and thoughtful.

Why not a 5/5 for everything? The physical place lacks character as its a converted shop in a high street.

If this was in the Tuscan hills in a Grove of olive trees it would be magical. But then so would I.

We LOVE La Casa for so many reasons, when I say 'we; I mean my friends and I and my husband and my family who come from miles away to meet at La Casa.

Firstly, the staff greet you as you walk in, they really are so lovely and good at their job, professional, attentive, but not over the top, in a good way and friendly.

Secondly, the food is delicious. I often have the Calamari, pate or the pesto, mozzerella and courgette dish, they are all my fav starters. Then the main course, pasta, pizza, rice dishes all so tasty. I have yet to try the Calzone, they are apparently lovely, they are also big for the hungry diner!

It is the sort of place where you can go on your own, feel comfortable and safe. I see a lot of people do that and that speaks volumes about the place. There are also many regulars who come back on a regular basis and enjoy a lovely meal, a coffee, a glass of wine or a beer outside, and the live music which is often on a Wednesday night.

I have been there when people were literally dancing in the street and in the restaurant, even the staff have joined in at times, all adding to the most special atmosphere.

La Casa is a gem of a restaurant, ideal for solo meals, coffees, cosy twosomes, family nights, nights out with friends, girls nights out, boys nights out or those celebratory nights that we all love. We go often and we see all of these, so we speak from experience.

Lovely food and lovely service. We’ve been twice this month already!
Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the meal and drinks were delicious.

Nice place for good Italian food (although paella is also on the menu?). The starters were tasty and mains were too... My pizza was large and could not finish it. Only remark is the table is a bit small to eat comfortably and hold plates, drinks and condiments.

Best pizza in fleet.

I ordered a cheese pizza with pepperoni as extra.
One bite, everyone knows the rules!

Zero flop, amazingly crisp but soft crust. Under carriage to die for. Perfect cheese to sauce ratio with a slightly spicey and salty pepperoni.
