Best roast I’ve ever had in a pub, and I have v high standards :) Also had lunch & dinner on a weekday and equally as impressed! Everything is homemade which is sadly rare these days. Will definitely be back!
A lucky find. Very friendly staff serving good food at reasonable prices. 3 generation family visit and all of us happy with the food. They even modified the lunch menu choices a little to accommodate our preferences.
I was in the area for the week and had dinner/lunch here three times. The food is fantastic and the Guinness is top notch - and the staff are also very helpful and friendly!
Had Sunday lunch at the Pelican. Very warm welcome on arrival and lovely friendly service throughout the meal. Food was of a very high standard too and we will certainly be returning.
