Went to Megs Kitchen for lunch earlier, staff are very friendly and a good selection of food choices. The cakes are delicious, would recommend. The only down side was there was not any baby changing facilities, however the toilet was very clean. Looking forward to returning.

Just been here today for lunch with my wife we ordered 2 ploughman's ...wow they came out on big tray each Quantity and Quality was amazing staff very friendly and polite .....even though they were short staffed they didn't fail to deliver. Looking forward to our next visit already big 👍👍👍to you all.

Had a lovely time at Meg's kitchen today. The staff were so kind and helpful to my two young children. They also loved the attention! Such a lovely experience. We had the smashed avocado bagel and two of the kids picnic boxes. Thank you

This is the third time we have visited Meg’s Kitchen while we have been visiting Petersfield. The coffee is excellent, the service friendly and efficient, and the scones and cakes that we have had have all been fresh and light. It is in a great location beside the car park so very easy to pop in. Thoroughly recommended by myself and my husband. We will use it again.

Cosy cafe with welcoming staff. Cuisine is spanish/latin. Had breakfast. The food is simple but delicious- I had 'Sumak eggs' which was fried eggs, flat bread and a yoghurt sauce. The tables include hot sauce which you can add to spice things up. I recommend giving it a try if your dish allows, since it isn't the sort of sauce that blows your head off. I had a sausage with my meal and that made it feel more complete. They have some nice theming- spanish-style art and cutlery that comes in a antique-style long-handle coffee pitcher. Only downside is the chairs are a bit uncomfortable due to their low back rests.

I was on my way to the vet a couple of doors down when I first walked past this cantina. The smell of fresh, tasty food, when they'd not long been open, was so good that I decided to pop in after the vet, and I'm really glad I did 😀 I had the pan-fried mackerel with Latin rice and salsa Verde, and it was excellent 👌 I spoke to the chef, and she told me that everything is made on the premises, even the jam, that's made in small batches 😀 I don't live in Petersfield, so now I'm going to have to find more reasons to go there!

Wow what incredible food! It is so fresh, tastes incredible, and I want to go back already! Highly recommend, gluten free and vegan options are available too. Can’t wait to visit again!

Great, helpful and friendly staff. Good coffee, cake and bagels toasties. They are dog friendly, also selling cold drinks and ice cream. Good range of food on the menu at reasonable prices. Disabled parking available. Does get very busy, but if you don't mind waiting the views are also worth it.

We had delicious food and drink at the Butser Roundhouse Cafe today. I’d highly recommend their coffee and toasties! Great service and a very much appreciated wc. A lovely little cafe, in a beautiful spot and definitely worth the climb!

We love this little café! We walk up the hill from QE Park with our dog regularly and the views from the top are spectacular. The café is a wonderful reward when you get to the top! Friendly staff, very generous sausage baps. A surprisingly good range of food and snacks for such a remote location. Free doggy biscuits and water bowls available. We just love coming here for a treat.

Dog friendly! Beautiful walk up and around Butser hill and the roundhouse is open Thursday to Sunday for hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, ice- creams, shakes, snacks, cakes, toasties and breakfast rolls. The best coffee! Dogs can have a puppachino for £1 and there's a water bowl. A friendly, family run business and a welcome pit stop on our walks :) the toilet is open until around 4pm and there are picnic benches. There are several routes up Butser hill from various locations but if you fancy just a walk around the top and the views, there is a road that goes up there from the A3, just past the Hampshire hog but be aware that there are pedestrians, horses and cyclists that use the same road. There is car park with a path that leads to the roundhouse. The car park isn't free but you can pay by card when you leave and it's only a short walk from there to the top.

I reviewed little leaf a while ago but wanted to edit as had a new baby and took both the kids. Very peaceful and breastfeeding friendly. The staff even helped by holding the little one so I could play with the toddler for a bit. They have bouncers for newborns too. What a lovely place! My husband, son (2 and a half years old) and I love Little Leaf. There is a lovely play area with a wide range of toys and some quieter toys as an option in the seating area too. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. Every time we’ve been there we’ve been greeted with friendly faces. Nothing seems too much trouble for the staff. Great changing and toilet facilities and some great drinks and snacks too. Would highly recommend 😊👍

Visited little leaf on Thursday for the first time and it was so so lovely! My five year old and her four old cousin would have stayed here all day if they could but we stayed 3 hours as that’s how long we got on the parking. Panini’s were delicious as was the coffee and we could sit and chat whilst the children played close by- heaven! Thank you Lucy x

My 2.5 year old son absolutely loves Little Leaf. Great selection of drinks and sandwiches for little ones and great cooked panini’s for adults. He especially loves the pirate ship and little shop. Will continue to be regular visitors

Took my 2 year old son to little leaf play cafe. I also had my 8 year old daughter in tow as it is the start of the holidays. Had a very warm welcome and made to feel comfortable. My son jumped straight in and had a wonderful time. Playing with the pirate ship, shop and kitchen. My daughter had plenty to entertain her with drawing and board games. Was able to enjoy some coffee and cake. Spent 3 hours there unintentionally. Thank you.

Lovely evening, food was local and fresh and the welcome and service were second to none. The facilities were beautifully clean and well appointed. Definitely will visit again.

Sunday roast lunch is a stalwart of British cuisine. It can be a a marvellous dish or it can be cardboard. Here at The Nest we were treated to a marvellous dish. Excellent and attentive service and a great pint of Flowerpots ale for me and white wine (don’t ask me questions about the wine - I’m more focused on “is the beer good”) for my wife. Warm, comfortable and welcoming it’s a somewhat different layout to the bare wood furniture that we seen in most country pubs in the county. But we must remember that this establishment marks itself as a boutique hotel and restaurant and it certainly meets its remit perfectly. Try it you won’t be disappointed.

We took refuge at The Nest at the end of a long day walking on the South Downs Way. We arrived quite late but they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, including dinner and breakfast. The room was lovely. Our stay was short but sweet and very welcome!

Fantastic food the roast was amazing, we had the duo roast great for those that cannot decide what to go for. Such good service, very friendly staff and very welcoming. Will definitely return again soon. 😀

A petrol head's idea of heaven. Today (23 October) a Halloween treat at lunchtime. Amazing Pepperoni Pizza with Jalapeno peppers. Hot and tasty. My wife had the Cult Burger, also very tasty! Everyone was friendly and helpful. Couple that with a brilliant drive there and back, what's not to like?

Really nice little spot, always clean, staff are friendly. Had the chicken and pesto panini and a flat white both were really fresh and nicely prepared. Recommend for a spot of brunch.

Had lovely breakfast here, order taken promptly with friendly service with a smile. The food is extremely nice and I have tried a few things from the menu. I would recommend anyone looking for great food with great service at a reasonable price.

Enjoyed several breakfasts and lunches at Cafe Mezzo. Always great food and excellent service never disappointed. Prices very reasonable. Can also cater for Vegans, not on menu but just ask. Highly recommended if visiting Petersfield.

Great small cafe. You can watch the kids play while you get a coffee. Kids sandwiches are a good size and huge sausage rolls.

Lovely cafe and walk, nice park! Bring a bucket and spade for the sand. You can see the big fish on the bridge, and lots of different birds to feed/ watch
