Enjoyable relaxed lunch with friends. Warm welcome on arrival, prompt friendly service. Food was well presented and tasty. Good range of beers and spirits. It was very quiet - probably not helped by the long diversion due to contractors repairing road sewers! We enjoyed the experience and plan to return soon.
Long overdue meet up with an old friend, we spent a very relaxing day at the Bourne Valley Inn telling tall tales and catching up. Large, airy bar area with plenty of comfortable seating. Great menu, both lunch and supper with a good range on the specials board - the Scott eggs were excellent! the whole team were very friendly and eager to help. Rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed. Plenty of parking and it's a lovely tranquil setting down by the water meadows and there's acres of outdoor seating too. Great stay, would definitely recommend!
Great place for a stop over. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and big portions. The room was well stocked with tea, coffee and cookies. We asked for oat milk which they put in a flask for us to take back to our room.
We went just for a meal and not to stay. The food was wonderful but there were several things not available on the menu so choosing was more limited. My fish stew was out of this world. Our friend had the schnitzel, which tasted wonderful but the plate was almost full of mushrooms and it spoilt it. He left most of them Despite this we would go back again.
