I found this bakery online and decided to give it a try based on the positive reviews. The queue out the door told was a good sign. I can honestly say this is the best bakery I have found so far, outside of London. The donuts are not to be missed. So tasty, fluffy and soft. They are proper yeast donuts and some of the best I've ever tasted, anywhere. Another winner, and a first for me, was the lardy cake. The small was massive and enough to share. I have nothing to compare these to but I have a hard time imagining them getting any better. Everything purchased was enjoyee. This will definitely be my go to bakery going foward.

Visited this bakery after a recommendation and must agree with other reviews this bakery is fantastic. For a real traditional/old school feel about it. So much on offer savoury & sweet. Very friendly staff and prices are incredibly reasonable. Gingerbread and Viennese finger were to die for.

Gorgeous little bakery that my friend recommended to me after her having been a regular customer for years! Had the vegetable lattice and apple crumble slice, both were absolutely scrumptious. Genuinely cannot wait to visit again.

If you see a queue, don't be put off. The lines move very quickly and it is worth the wait. Pastries that need to be soft, are, and those that you want a bit of resistance, have then. I've never been disappointed by Soothills

Although the staff were friendly, the service was a bit laid back - I felt like I had to go up and order. It was as a little cold inside so we kept our coats on. The smoked salmon bagel was excellent but my jacket potato with beef chilli was a bit disappointing because it had been microwaved, rather than baked. We might go there again.

Went to Tides coffee shop after work for a slice of cake. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the cakes were delicious! Would highly recommend if you are craving a sweet treat! It is also in a very pretty area, next to the sea with swans swimming around

Found based on Google reviews for a quiet local cafe - dog friendly - he got free sausages, lovely staff and really nice pumpkin cake. Would recommend.

This is a wonderful little cafe. The food was delicious and they had amazing catering for allergies. As someone who is gluten and dairy free they could offer me smoothies, milkshakes, ice cream, gluten free panini and bagels with dairy free cheese. The cakes were delicious according to other people in the party. Plus the prices were very reasonable.

I've been here a few times, usually whilst my husband is getting his haircut up the road. I always have a coffee and cake which is always amazing. The caramel chocolate slice is lovely. Only giving 4 stars for service due to popping in a few weeks ago and stood there for maybe 5 minutes and no one came to serve me or the other bloke in front of me so I went somewhere else. I couldn't see anyone to ask either. Otherwise every other time I have visited since its been wonderful. a very friendly place. A plus that it's dog friendly too and the dog shop across the road is handy 😊

Dropped in today after doing a spot of book and present-hunting. Cappuccino very nice as was the cheese scone, though it was a touch on the enormous side. Lady behind the counter very friendly and helpful. Decent value and speedy service...

I’ve come here a couple of times for coffee whilst working on my laptop. Staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Very nice coffee too. Such a nice atmosphere.

An absolutely amazing place, one to visit from near or far. My first time in Fareham and looking for a cafe to enjoy a warm drink my friend and I spotted Edwards. With a well presented and eye-catching exterior we looked closer to find that not only did this store front offer hot drinks and food, but also housed a hairdressers, this had to be seen to be believed. Stepping in we were greeted with an intelligently decorated interior, replete with hanging plants and colourful, comfortable furniture. To the rear of the store is the hairdressers, which looked popular and equally well presented. We made our way to the cafe counter and were warmly greeted by a member of staff who allowed us to peruse the menu and boards at our own pace, we then sat at a lovely little table by the window in two wonderfully comfortable lounge chairs. After an opportunity to look over the menu at our table the host came and took our order, also being happy to answer our questions about the stores unique dual purpose. The food was freshly prepared and presented to us upon gorgeous tableware. I had the soup of the day, one of two available, and was delighted with its flavour and quality. What had started as intrigue turned to a delightful visit, which I would recommend to all when in Fareham. Whether living locally or passing through Edwards Coffee lounge is a must try.

We booked the Yard for a private party on Saturday evening. The location is fantastic, the staff were efficient, attentive, and friendly, and we had a great evening. Thoroughly recommend it!

Lovely Coffee Shop one of the guys in our cycle club guided us to, after seeing good things about, so we gave it a go........it's in a very remote location but has lovely decor and a very bijoux feel about it. Staff were very upbeat and were serving quickly and efficiently. There is a large selection of coffee, cake and hot food on offer with the coffee beans baked on site called Moon Coffee which is also sold here. The "yard" area is very spacious with lovely seating around as well as outdoor heaters for the colder mornings or evenings. They are doggie friendly as saw a few on our visit and welcomed cyclists to with two very large bike racks to use.........will definitely visit again if we are out this way again!!

I recently booked this venue for my partner’s 30th birthday, and it was amazing! This is one of our favourite spots to enjoy coffee together, so it felt like the perfect place to celebrate the occasion. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely incredible. Frankie and the team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran seamlessly. We had an outside caterer for the food, but the staff took charge of organising and presenting it perfectly, making sure everything was on time, and making sure all of our guests, including those with allergies, were well taken care of. The atmosphere was fantastic- full of energy, warm, welcoming and it didn’t feel rushed or stressful. I kept checking in throughout the evening, but Frankie was absolutely wonderful in reassuring me that everything was under control and telling me that I should enjoy the celebration without a worry, which is what I did. Our guests had a wonderful time, and I’ve received nothing but positive feedback about the venue, the staff and the overall experience. I would highly recommend this place for any event - you won’t be disappointed. A huge thank you to Frankie and the team for making my partner’s birthday so special!

We love this little café! We walk up the hill from QE Park with our dog regularly and the views from the top are spectacular. The café is a wonderful reward when you get to the top! Friendly staff, very generous sausage baps. A surprisingly good range of food and snacks for such a remote location. Free doggy biscuits and water bowls available. We just love coming here for a treat.

What a wonderful gem of a cafe! Right at the top of Butser Hill, it's popular with hikers, cyclists, and dog walkers, and of course people who want to drive up and use the large car park to do some walking and take in the amazing 360 degree views from the top. The cafe is currently open thur to sun 9am - 4pm, and serves hot and cold drinks, ice creams cakes, all day breakfast, pastries, sandwiches, burgers, and probably many more things too! There are proper toilets available, and there are even dog treats too! The staff are very friendly and it's a great place for a well-earned refreshment. There are lots of picnic tables and benches spread out. I went on a dry, sunny, clear day, I'm not sure it would be as much fun on a rainy day!

Dog friendly! Beautiful walk up and around Butser hill and the roundhouse is open Thursday to Sunday for hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, ice- creams, shakes, snacks, cakes, toasties and breakfast rolls. The best coffee! Dogs can have a puppachino for £1 and there's a water bowl. A friendly, family run business and a welcome pit stop on our walks :) the toilet is open until around 4pm and there are picnic benches. There are several routes up Butser hill from various locations but if you fancy just a walk around the top and the views, there is a road that goes up there from the A3, just past the Hampshire hog but be aware that there are pedestrians, horses and cyclists that use the same road. There is car park with a path that leads to the roundhouse. The car park isn't free but you can pay by card when you leave and it's only a short walk from there to the top.

Really great place for walk, coffee, lunch and views! My dog loves and you can walk to QE Park as well. Stunning views around as its such a high point on South Downs.

A cosy and surprisingly large 2-story cafe with lots of outside seating for the warm weather. Parking on the streets nearby. Generously proportioned sandwiches come with a really tasty salad. One bowl of pwefect chips as a side did the three of us. Too full to have cake but they looked nice. Fully dog friendly. Staff are friendly and helpful and service was very prompt.

First visit to Breezes Cafe and we will definitely return. Great service and great food. We went on a Sunday and we were told it was busier than usual, so i would suggest making a reservation. If you aren't a huge fan of dogs, I wouldn't recommended it as it is a dog friendly place and there were quite a few dogs there.

Haven't been here for a few years, was pleased today at the options of non-dairy milks. Have to say it was the best latte I think I've ever had 😋 Lovely staff, great atmosphere. Great to see fishless finger sandwich now and option and there are other choices if you dont have allergies 🤪😊 Will happily be returning

We visited here for cream tea. What a delight! We were seated promptly and at a big table too for 3 of us. No table service but after ordering they were super quick with the delivery of the items. Lovely atmosphere, nice staff and very clean! (You could smell how clean it was) Will be visiting again!

Really wonderful place! So many options, you’ll find familiar dishes as well as new twists on old classics. The food tastes great and the portions are a good size. There’s a friendly and inviting atmosphere and very clean. Can’t wait to come back!

Cosy little cafe on the high street. Warm and efficient service from the lovely staff there. Popped in for a quick lunch and had the best homemade leek and potato soup. Was exactly like my grandma used to make when I was little. Huge bowl, piping hot with a big chunk of fresh bread... heaven. Menu items all can be made gluten free and lots of vegan/veg options. Brilliant little place. Loved it. Homemade cakes looked gorgeous.

Lovely cafe. Kept clean and good selection, especially smoothies. Homemade cakes elevate the place from other cafes who buy in mass-produced options. Sandwiches breakfast opinion light lunch salads all on menus. They do close sharp at 5pm.

This cafe is an absolute gem! The food and drinks are fantastic, with what might be the best hot chocolate we've ever had. However, what truly sets it apart is the outstanding service. The staff are incredibly friendly, go above and beyond for their customers, and always serve you with a warm smile. Found this place by chance after camping in the New Forest for the weekend. 100% recommend, a great menu and yummy food. I had the chicken and waffles and it came with a generous helping of maple syrup. The only thing I would change is serving the syrup on the side. I also had one of the best chai lattes I’ve ever had. Our dogs were made to feel welcome and were given treats by the staff. Thank you so much for a lovely breakfast!

Went on a Monday and got the vegan full Kimbridge - it was lush! The only “criticism” is that I’d have liked 1 more hash brown because they were perfection and there was waaaaay too much butter lol. But we will definitely be going back. The courgette fritters were fried to perfection. Great atmosphere, lovely location and the staff were very accommodating!

I was treated to an afternoon tea at Kimbridge Barn by a wonderful friend in March 2024. What an experience. We were seated in the window in the sunshine. Staff could not be more attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. The scones were huge - the size of a large mango - but beautifully soft & delicious and served warm. The sandwiches were scrummy, the ham hock mayo my favourite. The sunshine melted the sour cherry chocolate bar as we weren’t paying attention! It too tasted wonderful. Will definitely come back when the weather warms up. The package included unlimited teas and americano coffee. Would have been nice to include one special coffee like a latte for the price, but small niggle.

Saturday I had Chicken snitzel and my wife had the Haddock we both enjoyed the food. We returned on Sunday I had the Bacon belly and my wife had the scallops we both enjoyed so much so that I said complements to the Chef. Wonderful food. Good atmosphere and a craft shop too.

Great cafe in the heart of Portchester. Always welcoming, great selection on the menu. Can highly recommend either the toasted tea cake or crumpets!!! Coffee is good here. First visit this weekend since the whole covid malarkey. Tables spaced well, sanitiser available. NHS qr code in use. Great place for a quick bite.

Great food. I'm not here often, so I can't compare now to the previous management. The staff were polite and cheerful and managed to cater to our table of 8 at a very busy lunchtime. The food looked and tasted great. Good value, too. Nothing fancy, good, honest food. Nice hot drinks, too. The only reason I deducted a star is because the toilet door is a nightmare to open and close due to water damage, and the front door slams, which shakes the whole wall of windows. Sort those, and it's a 5 star...

So glad we found this place when we were starving and in need of a good breakfast, great cafe, friendly and quick service, great value and the breakfast was amazing! Perfect! Hot tasty and definitely filling, if you haven't visited I highly reccomend!
