What an absolute gem Bertrams is! I visited with my mum today, around 2pm. The place was so busy but the staff were simply amazing! We had to wait 30 mins for food, which was explained. Not a problem but I couldn't understand why some customers were rude! The staff , although so busy, were all so lovely! Smiling and so pleasant! Fab food and beyond exemplary staff! We will definitely be returning.
Visited Bertram’s today with my friend for a light lunch. We both had tea and the most delicious Polish apple cake and custard. The garden centre is lovely but I’d visit again just for the pie!
Wow ..not been before but met a friend at Bertram’s cafe at Smiths Garden Centre for lunch. I had the quiche and salad and tea and my friend the Soup and Latte . It was really good . There was so much food choice other customers were eating hot food there was a good selection to choose from. Great value for money too . The service was excellent Sarah Lisa & Jackie were so friendly and helpful would definitely recommend it .
Popular venue with cheerful smily staff offering a variety of light lunches, cakes and drinks. Most of the tables inside and out are shaped up for seating couples but can be pushed together for larger groups. Bacon and sausage fillers for sandwiches are good quality.
