The Best Cafes in Sidcup, Greater London, United Kingdom (2025)

Had my first coffee here yesterday very impressed & enjoyed by me & my wife. I purchased some beans that I am enjoying now at home. I didn’t purchase any food but it did look appealing.

We had a wonderful experience at this coffee shop. It had a lovely authentic, family welcome vibe and probably the best coffee I've tasted in London. Cakes were lovely and kids enjoyed the hot choc and complimentary cupcakes. Prices were good value for money. Definitely a regular visit for us.

By far one of the best coffees on the street not just that but the vibe and atmosphere of the cafe really makes Sidcup. They have different versions of coffee to try, someone who loves coffee this little cafe is heaven. Family oriented local business!

Great coffee, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. Everything is clean and well-organized, making it a pleasure to visit. Highly recommend stopping by!

The best cafe in the area! Now open on Sunday!!!! The cafe is under new ownership so I've decided to delete my pervious reviews. The food here is still outstanding and the new owner Sergi has kept using the same quality products from before. The bacon and sausage are excellent here! We've also got some lunches added to the menu including a delicious shepherd's pie and they still sell lovely milkshakes. Free WI-FI available Although the pervious owners will be missed the new team here are polite, attentive and professional and food is very fairly priced with excellent size portions. We even have a TV to watch in there now. Highly recommended

Really friendly staff, good quality food and reasonable prices. We regularly go here for breakfast or lunch on a weekend due to a varied menu. Takeaway is also good.

Absolutely bangin brekky. CLASSIC cafe. I had mushroom omelette, chips and beans, hubby had the builders breakfast. Large portions, all hot and delicious with a big mug of tea. Great value, great service.

I think it needs to be a little more clear that the 2 menus start at different times and that pre ordering is necessary for the African menu. The food was 10/10 nevertheless. The restaurant was quite cold and small. Unfortunately I never remembered to get a picture of my main which was Jellof with meat stew and plantain.

A welcoming environment. I was pleasantly surprised at the hospitality and amazing breakfast. Every need was catered for, with value for money being 10 out of 10.

This is a nice addition to Sidcup. The staff were very friendly and accommodating when we had to change to a later booking. The food is well presented, tasty and reasonably priced. I expected it to be spicier but I'm not used to Ghanaian food so perhaps this is normal. It's worth noting that the Ghanaian menu is served only at certain times and the soups require you to pre-order. They also didn't rush us out when we sat talking after eating (sorry!)

Very lovely restaurant whether you need breakfast lunch or dinner the staff are very welcoming great food amazing price and superb quality and 10 out of 10 for presentation very comfortable relaxing place to eat and relax will certainly be back often 👍👍👍👍😀

What a find! Came across this lovely coffee shop on the weekend and was so happy I did. One of the best coffees around I’ve found locally. I had 2 flat whites and both were great and love the ceramic cups, definitely appreciated by a coffee lover. They had some lovely pastries on display (which I didn’t get to try, maybe next time) and the space was lovely. Glad I got there early as it did get really busy with people queuing out the door so definitely a popular place, would definitely recommend.

I have been meaning to leave a google review for ages now as consider myself somewhat of a regular and absolutely love melk! As a barista myself, my friends often joke that I’m a little bit of a coffee snob but the coffee here is amazing. The food is always lovely and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Wonderful atmosphere and decor. The only complaint is I wish it was bigger and closer to home! Incredible coffee shop and can’t recommend highly enough.

Best dining exprience I've had in a while. Well priced, great fresh quality. I recommend the ginger tea (iced for the summer). So refreshing and divine. The owner is extremely warm and welcoming to all. 10/10.

This is a very special place. Such a family friendly vibe. Food is hearty and delicious. Staff is smiley and kind. We found the place yesterday and today returned for lunch. We will be back for sure. Lovely gem in the area!

Had a delicious lunch here today. Someone ordered for me but it was a chickeny, bacony, salady ciabatta type sandwich. Service was polite and friendly. We sat outdoors which was nice.

Popped in for a couple of bacon sandwiches to takeaway. Nice crusty bread, not the greatest quality bacon but the price here is very reasonable. Cafe clean with polite staff Limited parking

Stopped here for lunch and tried the all-day breakfast sets, toast, and kids menu. Everything was lovely and done perfectly. Will visit again when in the area.

Performed at the school down the road, and needed somewhere for breakfast afterwards. There was nothing else open before 11. Very happy with the service and the food here. Friendly, smiley staff and quick, hot food. Testy and good portion sizes. A good number of people there too, a nice vibe.

Nice interior and friendly staff, received really warm service and the food came promptly and tasted great. I ordered a mocha which was lovely. It was a great place to dine in and have a celebratory meal following a passed driving test at the local test centre

Went for a baby shower and had a lovely time. Food and tea was yummy and the entire restaurant is well presented and clean. Staff is very nice and the location is dog friendly too

Saturdays aren’t the same without morning coffee at Catch - a hidden gem on our High Street. Velvety rich coffee, sublime pastries - everything os done with care and attention to detail. Super friendly staff just add to the experience. One of us is vegan so finding somewhere where we are both welcome really means a lot
