Amazing cafe and crafts building in the old library. Lovely building great helpful friendly staff and great quality food and drinks in a lovely trendy cafe setting. I'm new to Erith this place didn't pop up on Google as a cafe which I was looking for and I'm so pleased I found it.

Grade II Listed Former Library (1906) endowed by philanthropist Andrew Carnegie. A red brick Edwardian public building: a showpiece boasting a surplus of stone dressings. Projects authority, confidence and craftsmanship at the apogee of the town’s heavy industry and commercial heyday. Currently converted to a popular local community centre, cafe, workshop, craft and exhibition hub.

What a friendly and relaxed place to go for a bit of lunch (haven't been for their evening menu). Fresh food, coffee, beer, soft drinks and cake available. A great addition to Erith away from the commercial Costa, greggs. They do have a slightly higher price bracket for the area but you're not getting the regurgitated fried food that you'll find in the town centre options. Support local businesses and go say hi one day.

had a lovely little lunch in the cafe that's just opened! super lovely in the summer where you can sit outside and enjoy the garden. the gift shop is a must to visit - wish I knew about this place earlier! what a lovely community space!
