A very cute, quintessential country venue. Warmly welcomed at the door and promptly greeted by our waitperson. Our drinks did take a little while to get to us, but that is to be expected when it’s busy. Our food (breakfast) was amazing. Tasty and beautifully presented on the plate. Yum! There is a selection of giftware in the shop. Definitely a place to meet family and friends 😊
First time to Penelope restaurant, Lovely atmosphere with local produce food. Excellent customer service , our waitress (Sarah) was very welcoming and friendly. Made the whole experience worth it. Definitely will return again.
Really lovely place. Excellent decor and atmosphere. Very clean. Food was delicious - I had the veggie breakfast which was great and good portion. Louis our waiter was lovely - been here a couple of times and the staff are always attentive. Definitely would recommend.
Fantastic little hiden gem. Food and service is outstanding and the portion sizes are well worth the cost. Sunday roast is huge, biggest Yorkshire puddings! Definitely worth another visit, the staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Sarah, our waitress was absolutely phenomenal, gave us the feeling of being old friends which made the service even more special.
Breakfast with hubby this morning! Had the whole place to ourselves practically! Fabulous fresh food, best cups of tea, the music playing was so singalongable how could I resist 🤣 Taken care of by Sarah who is just the best hostess and the whole team were really on good form. Great start to the day!!
