Great coffee and food. I’ve loved this place since I moved here 10 years ago but what was exceptional was the service from our waitress Roda who was incredibly kind, friendly and attentive when we needed to customize our orders. She’s probably the best server I’ve ever had- she made our visit on this occasion extra special :) I would highly recommend the grilled cheese, I had the breakfast burrito which was also delicious but it was premade so hard to customize. It gets busy at peak hours so expect to queue. Hope to come back soon and try more things on the menu!
Came here for brunch with friends. What a fantastic place! The service was excellent, we were welcomed and the coffees arrived promptly. Our meals were delicious with high quality ingredients. Every member of staff was polite and super helpful. Can't wait to return soon.
Wonderful little cafe/bar, we arrived at around 2pm so it was quite quiet which was nice. Ordered the sweet potato cake which was delicious but a bit small for £12. The 2 for 1 cocktails were on so we got a Daquiri each which was also nice and a good deal. The coffee's here are the cheapest I've seen in the busy parts of London. Servers were all polite and made our time there very peaceful and enjoyable.
About a month ago now I visited london my dad and a few friends. We stayed at an airbnb nearby the Grind located on Old St. so we decided to try it out one night. Our server whose name was Kalis (unsure of spelling) was amazing! We went sometime during the evening and had such a pleasant experience. Kalis was making us laugh the whole night and even threw in some spanish to make my dad laugh with us. The drinks were equally as good as the service. We ordered several rounds of Mulled wine and tequila shots 10/10.
