As a solo traveler I’m always on the lookout for places that make me feel “at home” —Curious Yellow Kafe is a winner! The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is welcoming, and the coffee is delicious!
An absolute local gem. Had lunch here today with my daughter - we had the amazing vegan cassoulet special and the meatballs. Packed with flavour and authenticity, with a great balance of seasoning, which is a rarity I find. Perfect sized serve for me and great price. Staff were so sweet and made us feel right at home. Warm and cosy and quiet on a typically cloudy December day. I will definitely be back, and soon.
Everything about this funky little brunchy cafe reminds me of all the best hole in wall local joints in San Francisco. The staff is kind, accommodating and helpful. The food and coffee is fresh. Keep in mind this place is small, there's probably only room for one person in their tiny little kitchen area behind the counter, and they're very busy between diners/take away, at least on the Saturday I came by, so don't expect to rush through a sit in experience here. They'll get your food to you as quickly as possible and it'll be worth the wait!
