My go-to spot for a daily mocha served with a smile. I love this place and because they’re so good, I don’t really go anywhere else for coffee locally. The service is everything and the wonderful ladies behind the counter always put a smile on my face. And their cake selection is fantastic too. I really love the different varieties of banana bread in particular.

It is very nice cosy cafe. The coffee and pastry is delicious. The service was perfect and very warm, it made us feel like home. Thank you so much!

Just amazing!! Such a sweet lady who runs the shop. She made us paninis and lattes by hand and it could not have been more perfect. We were so happy we stopped by! There were many locals coming in and out so it’s a good sign.

Great little neighbourhood cafe. Two wonderful women run this delightful little spot and the service is always warm and friendly. Decent coffee and lots of great pastries and cakes. They also sell dry goods, sauces and other small selection of groceries. Lunch-time toasty sandwiches are tasty and made fresh per order. Limited seating available inside and outside. Can be a bit of a wait if they’re busy but worth the wait.

The nicest customer service as well as the best Thai I probably ever had in life, it was such a nice evening with a good chat with the waiter, great company indeed. Will come soon for sure, by far the best Thai in whole of London!

Fabulous cake. One of the best ever. Not too sweet and you can actually taste the cocoa. Lovely coffee and ice cream, too. Thank you for being so accommodating to my young child.

The chocolate cake I got was a bit old, the chocolate at the top dried out. Well, it was the last one in the display. All the cakes looked amazing and eye catching 🤩 The cafe latte was excellent ; would order again ! Friendly, helpful and polite service. Cute pink ambiance and decor.

Came in on Christmas Day and experienced great food, and very lovely service. Was a very nice start to the day :).

Lovely set up and the garden is wonderful to eat outside.. The food is very tasty and was perfectly cooked. I can’t help but wish I had a little more for my money as there was a 10% service charge added on also. This was in the small print at the bottom of the menu. I left still feeling hungry. We also got the full English breakfast and that was very minimal also.
Rating: 5 / 5
Love it here! Friendly family run business. They are very friendly and welcoming. I get my morning coffee here almost everyday and sometimes a full English. My clients love it there too as they can place food orders and have it brought to them while having their hair done 😊

I stopped here with my little one to watch Liverpool's win against Manchester city. We immediately felt welcomed by the warm staff. The place is comfortable, it's clean, and we will definitely come back for more games.

They sell the most amazing candles here! Worth a visit to smell the beautiful aromatherapy while waiting for your coffee. Lovely cafe, food is delicious- Sara makes the best poached eggs!! Staff are so friendly- my kids love to visit them. And the terrace is lush.

It was absolutely lovely! The place is magical! Has so much style and charm. Clientele is classy and polite. Staff is really professional and super friendly. Food was yum! Blackcurrant sorbet was a bomb! I don’t eat gluten and dairy and they were very careful and helpful with my dietary restrictions. Quite a few options on the menu even for someone like me. Loved it!!! 100% recommend. Locals hidden gem

This place has three different spaces; the pub, the grill and the library (cocktail bar). The pub is beautiful, but I wouldn’t visit it as a regular pub. All tables in the pub space are reserved for food…. And you will have to have a reservation, this place is busy! There is space to perch at bar or go outside but it feels more like a food place than a pub, which is a shame. The nice big fire isn’t a central point, the focus is the bar. You may have a table with lots of people stood by you which is off putting. When we arrived our table wasn’t ready. We ordered a wine at the bar. We told the barman we didn’t like natural / new style wines. The barman assured us that the wines were classic style. When we received our wines they were natural, we were disappointed and felt bad complaining. When we got to our table out our waiter guided us to a delicious wine. The menu is a little bit different to online. We ordered scotch eggs, beer battered cod collars, peas and chicken pie with mash. The menu is well priced and the food is delicious. Really good on a cold day. We weren’t seated at our table until 15 mins after our reservation time. What was very disappointing was we were rushed a lot to leave after 1 hr 15. I was still eating and the host came over 3-4 times to rush me. There were no apologies. I also wanted to try the desserts but wasn’t given the opportunity. The food here is great but I would probably only return to try the grill restaurant. The Baring and Parakeet, other gastro pubs in London give you an overall more welcoming experience with just as nice food. This place you feel leaving feeling like you are just a number.

Downstairs bar area is roomy, good atmosphere, upstairs is smarter, tables or comfy bunkettes. Very enjoyable lunch in The Grill, 1st floor. Very good service but not overbearing. Food was excellent, and I'd urge you to try the smoked trout (I suffered starter envy, but my raw beef on hash brown was delicious). Sweetbreads were delicious. The meat mains are generous servings for two. My fish was well cooked. Good wine selection starts at £42. Delicious bread. Couldn't fit in a dessert but they looked great. Wish this was my local. Will go back.

Breakfast was lovely and really tasty. I had scrambled eggs on toast which was delicious, my partner had the French toast which he really enjoyed. Staff were lovely, gave us a great table and decor was stunning. I had told them it was my partner’s birthday, and they surprised him with a scoop of ice cream - which was the perfect start to the birthday celebrations ✨❤️

A very pleasant working lunch, sat with a nice view of the canal as the early Autumn-sun shone. The food/seasoning was a little too subtle for my palette but the ingredients were of good quality and it was presented well. I had the calamari starter and sea bass special main course. I can't fault the very friendly, attentive and professional service. I'd happily return to try something with a bit more zing.
Rating: 5 / 5
Lovely restaurant right on the canal bank. Well ⁹laid out and good views even if you don't get a canal side table. One thing, if you order the fish and chips, be prepared for one big 🐟 on your plate.

We came here for my partners birthday meal and the customer service was amazing. Kat was our waitress (but all stuff were friendly) and she was very attentive, friendly and polite. She accommodated to our dietary requests with ease, thank you for a great service and the food was GREAT!

The place is very quaint. Service was so so and food wasn't up to the standard I thought it would be. Maybe because it was New Years Day and they had a couple of big parties. I would give it another try in the summer months, tho

We had an engagement party in the downstairs lounge area, and it was a perfect night. The food and cocktails we ordered were amazing and many guests commented on it. The area felt really cool and relaxed and was perfect for a party of about 35 people. Attentive staff who went the extra mile. Thank you so much for making our evening special. :)

Top traditional Sunday roast. The environment is pretty chill and service is good. I'd come back to try more dishes or have drinks.

I feel at home in a great pub. This place has the balance just right. The classic, tasteful original features are still there: Victorian tiles, wooden floors, fireplace and so on. But the people who run it have tastefully brightened the rest of the place up to set it firmly in the 21stC. The coffee is excellent, the ambiance homely and welcoming, the food, I'm told, is tasty and if good quality. I'll be back to try the beer soon!

The Elgin in Maida Vale, on Elgin drive is a fine little pub cum cafe close to Maida Vale underground station. A small selection of keg beers and ciders. No sign of any cask ales. Quick polite service, a card only outlet. A pleasant place for a beer.

Lovely place. Friendly, attentive staff. Tasty, reasonably priced food. I think it’s also worth mentioning that they do a few things very well that a lot of much higher priced cafes and restaurants do not. Namely the lighting is pleasant. Not too high but not too dim. The temperature is pleasant. Windows open for fresh air and ceiling fans. Thirdly the music. It’s at a pleasant volume and is relaxing. All things that cost very little but make a huge difference to the customers experience. Well done guys. Will be back 😀

My favorite little coffee and brunch spot in the area. Inside the table service us amazing and the staff are always so friendly and happy to help. I love the shakshouka for brunch, both the beef and vegetarian lasagna are both flavorful and it’s hard to decide between the two. The pastries are all amazing, the fresh squeezed juices are well balanced and the salads are tasty and filling, and appropriately balanced with dressing, my favorite is the beetroot. Oh and who can forget the delicious wines, they offer a lovely selection of wines to pair with you lunch or dinner. Can’t wait to go back and try some more of the menu for breakfast, brunch and lunch!

Great meal in a great location! Even without the view of the canals (because it was dark and rainy), this was a great spot for dinner. Lots of atmosphere and people around with good service and good food.

Halloween and we decided to take a very long walk in the afternoon. That long walk took us from Harrow into the West end. However, on the way we both felt hungry, but for something healthy and honest. There was always a restaurant I had wanted to try...as it overlooked the canal at Little Venice. As it was on our way we decided to pop in. It is a lovely space, the highlight being seated overlooking the canal. I can imagine in the summer this is magical. We both ordered the Chicken Palliard....a grilled chicken fillet on a bed of rocket with cherry tomatoes. This was exactly what we wanted, healthy, and just the right amount. We accompanied this with a glass of Chardonnay... perfect. We opted for the cheesecake and the cheese board for dessert... wow....never seen such a cheeseboard....and it was delicious. The coffee is also fantastic. If you're ever in this part of the world come here...they have home made pasta, amazing pizzas....a definite must.

The neighborhood in London isn’t the best, but I absolutely loved the pasta at this Italian restaurant. It’s located near Little Venice, which adds to its authentic charm. Be sure to ask about their daily specials. I had linguine with king prawns that day, and it was fantastic. The service was incredibly quick, the waitstaff were friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderfully cozy.

I ordered the superfood salad and paid extra to add hot smoked salmon. The salad was a massive portion and could easily be shared between two. The lemon dressing was exceptional and the balance between sweet and salty was perfect. 5*

Amazingly chill New Year’s Day in this riverside joint. The virgin mary rocked my socks off, especially when combined with the wonderfully crispy, chicken burger. Staff friendly and mostly on it, and let us hang for longer than expected. Highly recommended.

I recently dined at this beautiful restaurant in London, and I was absolutely blown away. The steaks are to die for—cooked to perfection with incredible flavor. The wine selection was equally impressive, complementing the meal perfectly. The service was nothing short of spectacular; the staff made the entire experience unforgettable. I will definitely be visiting again whenever I’m in London. Highly recommend!
Rating: 5 / 5
The Waterway offered fantastic food, really good service, and even better management. I really recommend their steaks as it really was one of the best I had. The location was very welcoming, clean and elegant. On top of all of the above, what impressed me the most it was how management was able to handle an uncomfortable situation: During our lunch a mishap happened, and one of our personal items was damaged. Nonetheless, with extreme professionalism, the general manager Antonio, put effort in trying to remedy the situation, and proposed a satisfactory solution. I really recommend this place for its food, location and most importantly to the attention they give to its clients. An attention that I have never found anywhere else.

Food was delicious, it came so fast! I loved their selection of mocktails and the atmosphere was perfect with space heaters, blankets and riverside view. Cozy comfort… and the food reflected that too, with an elevated touch. The vegan options were delicious too, I had the plant-based black rice salad and the bang bang cauliflower. 😋
