Came here for brunch with friends. What a fantastic place! The service was excellent, we were welcomed and the coffees arrived promptly. Our meals were delicious with high quality ingredients. Every member of staff was polite and super helpful. Can't wait to return soon.
Mint spot. Great classic and old school vibes. Staff were insanely lovely and charming. Nice to have my partner join me there too. One of those I hope continues to succeed and thrive.
Great coffee and food. I’ve loved this place since I moved here 10 years ago but what was exceptional was the service from our waitress Roda who was incredibly kind, friendly and attentive when we needed to customize our orders. She’s probably the best server I’ve ever had- she made our visit on this occasion extra special :) I would highly recommend the grilled cheese, I had the breakfast burrito which was also delicious but it was premade so hard to customize. It gets busy at peak hours so expect to queue. Hope to come back soon and try more things on the menu!
Great café with a clean, modern aesthetic. Friendly staff, and tasty coffees. It wasn't clear from signage and lack of menus on tables that food was available - I only mention this because it'd be a travesty if a hungry visitor missed out on the incredible food... For breakfast, I had the huevos rancheros and my wife had the veggie breakfast. It was a real cut above most breakfast/brunch places - thoughtfully prepared dishes, beautifully presented. It's our second trip to The Grind in two days, after visiting the Covent Garden branch yesterday for lunch - what higher praise could I give?!
Wonderful little cafe/bar, we arrived at around 2pm so it was quite quiet which was nice. Ordered the sweet potato cake which was delicious but a bit small for £12. The 2 for 1 cocktails were on so we got a Daquiri each which was also nice and a good deal. The coffee's here are the cheapest I've seen in the busy parts of London. Servers were all polite and made our time there very peaceful and enjoyable.
