Great cafe just off the main street with speciality coffee. Atmosphere felt very relaxed and not too busy. Oat Flat white is only £3.50. They have a great selection of cakes and also toasties. Plenty vegan options too. Highly recommend!

The cappuccino was good. It was a bit bitter to my taste but it was definitely rich in taste. It was a bit too hot in my opinion though. They have some good options too like toasts, so it can be a good light breakfast option

I had the opportunity to eat at this coffee for lunch during the weekend. It wasn't super busy, and we didn't have to wait. The menu offered several options between standard and vegetarian, all of the very delicious and interesting. They also make fresh orange, carrots or apple juice, which is nice. The service was extremely fast, and in terms of overall cost, on average. I definitely recommend it 👌

We were really surprised by the portion. Most importantly, the food was amazing. The pancake was soft and topped with syrups, pistachio and very fresh berries. We customised our own breakfast and it was very tasty. My Oreo milkshake was the best treat that wasn't too sweet with loads of cream. What a great brunch! :) The shop was nicely decorated and neat though there isn't a lot of space therefore a bit squashed.

Excellent, generous full afternoon tea. Possibly just for the Platinum Jubilee weekend, but astonishingly good quality (and value). Better than many of the fancy hotels. Not a single thing to complain about - proper clotted cream, homemade scones, light and fluffy Victoria sponge, perfectly-seasoned sandwiches. Superb.

My friend took me here as it's his favorite coffee shop and is now fast becoming mine too! The decor is warm and inviting, the owner is very hospitable, the coffee is fantastic, and the food is delicious and well-plated. I got the Halloumi Salad. It was light and refreshing, exactly what I needed after a heavy Christmas dinner. My friend got his go-to Garden Plate which looks absolutely scrumptious. Definitely coming back while I'm here in London!

I must say, the experience exceeded all of my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles from the incredibly friendly staff. The ambiance was inviting and spotless, which immediately put me at ease. The menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes, and everything I ordered was absolutely delicious. Each bite was a delight, showcasing the chef's attention to detail and dedication to quality. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was beautiful—clearly, a lot of thought went into each plate. The service was impeccable as well. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, and they made sure my experience was nothing short of perfect. It's rare to find a place that gets everything right, but Ta Va truly delivered on all fronts. I highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I'll definitely be returning soon!

Its like they understand the customers so well. The energy of this place just matches the vibration of your energy. Its in fact something amazing. In such a busy city like London... we need places like this where we can just run to and rest for a while, putting our thoughts together, wether taking notes or sketching or just doing nothing really. A lovely little boutique coffee shop, also had an expansive food menu. Was offered a frappe which wasn’t on the menu, and went with it and it tastes absolutely lovely. My partner got some boba ice tea which was also great. There’s nice seating outside, perfect in the summer heat, and inside was decorated nicely too. We were both very glad we stopped here for a midday drink break. The items on the menu are also very reasonably priced

Lovely place to have brunch. I had the Turkish Eggs on thr breakfast menu. They reminded me of my childhood. My grandma used to make them in the same way. The food was fresh and super delicious. Great coffee and good service :) would like to come back. It also seem to be frequented by people in the area which means all their food is great! They have a great selection of alternative milks too!

Had such a lovely experience here at this small bistro in East Finchley - extremely friendly and attentive staff. Lovely setting. The fixed price menu (£22 for 2 courses/£25 for 3) provided excellent choice. Good range of wines by the glass, 500ml carafe or bottle - reasonably priced. I would really recommend it but you would definitely need to book. Very busy but didn't feel the need to rush which was great. So good I forgot to take photos of the food!!! 😄

Had a really lovely meal at Table Du Marché in Finchley. Wife had Honey roast beetroot with Roquefort cheese, walnuts and cauliflower to start while I enjoyed scallops, pancetta for starters then she had seabass and I tucked into duck breast. Finally we had a lovely apple sablé with salted caramel ice cream. Truly a gorgeous meal and served by nice friendly staff. Restaurant decor was pleasant and fairly quiet but it is a Sunday. Everything was extremely tasty and nothing was left behind. Deffo a great find and highly recommended

Dined at Table Du Marche as we were in the area. It was lunch, so the Prix Fix menu was offered so we ordered: Gravalax, avocado, pickled fennel, rocket, sour cream. Steamed mussels with garlic, shallots, parsley, white wine & cream Pan-fried calfs liver, caramelised onion & red wine jus, chive mashed potato Portions are big compared to other French restaurants and I found their food to be on the buttery and heavy side especially for the creamy mussel sauce and the mashed potatoes. Other than that, it was all good except the gravalax contained the grey part from the cut and some of the calf's liver was near the arteries which made it chewy.

Come here if you have a hankering for sandwiches. My husband ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, which he enjoyed. My sausage and egg bagel was tasty and rich, with a high quality egg that was perfectly oozy. The sandwich was quite substantial for me, though. I imagine there was a good amount of fat in it, since I was barely hungry for dinner later that evening. The cafe isn’t very large, but go to the back for more seating if you don’t see any free tables near the counter. There is also a toilet available there.
