Feels incredible to be back at the cinema. Very well organised, beautiful cinema on the high street in East Dulwich, a brilliant vibrant area in SE and a must go area if not been already. The cinema itself didn't disappoint, all picturehouses we have been to have been great to be fair. What we liked most about this one was the set up, the feel as you walk in and what we love about these cinemas you feel like your going into a cinema theatre and looking forward to the experience. Choice of drinks was ace and popcorn🍿 was lovely! The film we saw was 'The father' wow a solid film, highly recommend. We give it A***** LDT x

Best cafe in the area. Alex who runs it is so lovely and knowledgeable. Particularly fond of the honey glazed ham croissants, so good. Wouldn't waste my time getting coffee anywhere else if I'm in Dulwich as it's always good here. Consistent.

I came here first time to try the famous honey and poppy seed coated ham and cheese croissants and it was the best croissant I had in years! Definitely come back for more! Coffee was outstanding as well and service is on the next level. Alex was very friendly and explained to my mum all the allergies from the counter. Definitely will come back and get more stamps on my loyalty card! ✌️

I normally don't leave reviews but I actually was there when the person who commented before me was having the hissy fit. Adult man crying about leaving tips is just pathetic 😂 maybe getting a better paying job would solve your problem? Place been amazing for 7 years. Highly recommend ❤️

Harri’s is a rare example of a true family run “caf”. On our first visit it was easy to dismiss it as “just another cafe”. But on repeat visits what you’ll find is a warm and welcoming local London hot spot that’s popular with all generations — from young parents with their toddlers to older gentlemen and women who have clearly lived in the area all their lives. I always go for a classic cappuccino and a bacon roll (they let you choose whether you want soft or crusty bread), and it’s always cooked fresh. None of this “warmed up under a hot plate” nonsense that you find in some cafes. There’s a great set of lunch options — baked potatoes, toasted sandwiches, paninis and more. There are lots of Greek sweets and pastries. The honey cake is an absolute delight and like nothing I’ve had since being on holiday on a Greek island many years ago. A delightful local cafe that’s worth many a visit if you live in the area.

Pleasent environment, friendly staff, delicious green tea & doughnut. Toilets were clean and handy being across the road from dulwich libary and near a bus stop.

It was a family affair at Harri's kitchen today. The food was lovely not greasy fresh with flavour. The chips were lovely oh the crunch it was 10/10. Met Harri and Co lovely cafe will definitely go again

Words can’t describe how much I love this place! I’ve been 3 times in the past few months and each time it was excellent, and it’s my go-to place to bring friends now. The food is delicious and the staff very helpful and kind. I’d especially recommend the dumplings with soup inside!! The decor adds to the lovely atmosphere. Nice wine and desserts too!

What a lovely surprise walking around Dulwich and discovered this great gem. Beautiful decor in an old Victorian building probably used as butcher or game shop. Fantastic atmosphere specially this evening as Georgia was playing the Euro Cup. It was very lively. We sat outside, it was much quieter and have a delicious rose wine and a mezze. Absolutely delicious food and the wine was superb. Our waiter was super friendly and knowledgeable (Misho) and we were great by the lady owner which made us feel very welcome. Old fashion hospitality as it should be. Thank you both for such a great evening. Definitely a place to return soon and try more tasty food and other wines.

I had my wedding lunch at Franklins, and I must admit it was truly special. Siobhan was excellent at understanding our needs, but in general, everyone working there was extremely kind. I highly recommend it for an intimate and refined wedding.

Went for a Sunday roast at Frankins. The food was absolutely amazing and the settings in the restaurant are lovely. Highly recommend

The food at Franklin's is always exceptional and distinctive, perfectly capturing their ethos of nose-to-tail cooking and authentic dining. We’ve always loved the restaurant’s unique blend of a relaxed pub atmosphere with refined touches, like white tablecloths, which made it feel both warm and elegant for our special occasion. The staff were outstanding, with Siobhan in particular going above and beyond to make everything perfect. She was relaxed, attentive, and called us a few times beforehand to confirm all the details, ensuring everything was well-organised. I was especially touched when she asked about the colours of my bridal bouquet so she could match the table flowers — a small but thoughtful detail that made the day feel even more personal. The room was beautifully decorated, and the service throughout was impeccable — professional, attentive, and seamless. They took great care of our guests, catering to kids' food preferences and accommodating requests with ease. A few days before the wedding, we dropped in for an impromptu wine tasting, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. Thanks to the fantastic team at Franklin's — from management to waitstaff and chefs — our wedding breakfast is a memory we will always cherish. We can’t wait to return soon! Ellis & Nick

We had a lovely evening... Great service and atmosphere. I enjoyed the wine list and also the limited but very interesting menu with options for everyone. I prefer to have set of 5 to 8 starters and same for the mains. I expected my schnitzel different, or next time call it schnitzel with sauce over it and fried egg.. but it was good but very filling (not so light 😉). Cremant d'alsace (Champagne from the Alsace) was very good.

My family are staying in East Dulwich for a few days visiting dear friends. After watching a movie at the Dulwich Picture House and Cafe across the street (another absolute gem) with three kids 6 to 8, we had to find lunch FAST. Luckily, Johnnies Cafe was open and, even better, the food was great! Raised in New Jersey, I know my way around a diner and if anything like that exists here on these isles, this is it! Extensive menu, hearty English comfort food, veggie options, dinner items, salads, things for kids. My 6 yo got the pasta Bolognese and loved it (and she can be particular with her Bolognese -- our win rate is maybe 67% when ordering it out). Our friend's 6 yo grandson did too and he licked the bowl clean, lol. My 8 yo got the fish fingers, fries and peas and was very happy. My wife got the tuna salad and had enough to take back to the Airbnb. Our friend had a spectacular looking Greek Salad that she enjoyed. Going in I figured a Full English for me -- or the killer version that comes with a short stack of pancakes that the dude at the next table got and devoured. But, my Doctor's advice prevailed and I got the delicious Chicken Halloumi Avocado salad instead. The Ketchup and brown sauce in large squeezable tomato-shaped pots kept the kids distracted while the food came. Bonus! The staff were friendly, if a bit serious. But they were super helpful and patient with us. If you're on Lordship Lane and hungry, stop in. We'll definitely be back!

I came here with my elderly Aunt who is a regular here, absolutely 10/10 for this amazing little cafe. She didn’t even have to ask for her cup of tea, as they bought it over to her! The food was delicious 😋 I’ll definitely be back when I’m visiting my Aunt again.

We went there for breakfast. We had eggs benedict and the veggie breakfast option 3, one latte and one orange juice freshly squeezed. The portions are very generous, the food is great and I loved the fact that my veggie sausage was actually made of vegetables (peas, carrots and others) rather than being beyond-meat kind of sausage. The mushrooms were delightful and the selection of food was spot on. Eggs benedict were spot on, cooked to perfection. It's a great and cozy place. Staff is friendly. They have a great choice in the menu. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed a really lovely coffee and bun at Söderberg in East Dulwich today. They have lots of options - including vegan-friendly cinnamon buns - and it’s so great to have Swedish pastries in London: the cardamom, cinnamon and vanilla and raspberry (and mud cake) all looked sensational. They also serve pizzas and wines. Coffee was very smooth and tasty. Service super nice and helpful. Dog-friendly and stylish cafe. I like that they play music in the loo. Would definitely come back!

I loved this little cafe located in East Dulwich. It has a very chill vibe, great music and Scandinavian style decor. The staff are lovely. Very attentive and friendly. It's a dog friendly place, they even have doggie biscuits. The food was amazing. I has avocado, poached eggs on sourdough bread which was delicious. My latte was lovely too. Make sure you try the cocktail of the month or week. I will definitely be visiting again ☺️.

Had a great time visiting this new cafe in the Dulwich area! Pleasant staff who were helpful in explaining ingredients of their food as well as the food being very tasty. Great baked selection and their sourdough sandwich selection is great too!

Second time here for a Sunday roast. We don’t bother with starters because the main is huge! We had 2 21day aged rumps and 2 slow roast pork belly with sides of cauli cheese and creamed leeks and extra broccoli- which we didn’t need! Absolutely one of the best pub roasts I’ve ever had . Highly recommend. The pub is dog friendly and family friendly. Lovely staff and great food. We had a crumble and 2 chocolate fondants with ice cream for pudding. Totally stuffed!!

We celebrated our annual Christmas lunch here. Everyone at the table asked that I leave a very positive review on all of our behalf. There were 15 of us. The comms were great before and during the lunch. The service was excellent. We never had to ask for a drink, the team were there looking after us with a warm and professional manner. We all agreed it was amazing food, great drinks list and the best customer service any of us had experienced in years. Thank you to the amazing team

Great Sunday Lunch. We tried the roast beef, roast pork belly and fish and chips. The beef and fish and chips were both very good, the pork belly was tender with crispy crackling and served with plenty of vegetables and a large Yorkshire Pudding, portions are definitely generous. My only comment was perhaps there was too much gravy already on the plate, but it did not detract from the overall quality of the food. The pub is really busy and clearly very popular with local families so booking is essential. During our time there, tables were constantly being turned to accommodate more customers. Staff were friendly and informative about drinks selections and food was served promptly given who busy the pub was. Loved the buzzy atmostphere and decor, it really did this wonderful building proud. They also have a garden and outside seating in front of the pub (with a small marquee) neither of which we tried as it was very cold. A great visit, and good pub for families in the area but don’t forget to book in advance.

We booked a table for a baby shower on a Sunday afternoon for roast. I had exchanged a few emails with Kai & the team so they knew our orders. Even though they were very busy they delivered the food relatively quickly and everything was the best quality. We also added/changed a couple of menu options on the day and they weren't annoyed at all. Thank you!

Visited the resturant for the first time in lordship Lane. Definately did not disapoint! Lovely amd welcoming, great food and atmosphere. Now discovered i love 15 minites away from another one of thier resturants and will definately be visiting. Also to the lady we asked what an item my friend purchased, we found out it is part of a cake cutting set. This the the part which you use to serve the cake. Would never had guessed.

The most delicious fresh salads, think they change weekly but this was the avocado and butter bean one as well as the roasted butternut and feta. All the salads on their instagram look incredible and I would definitely be trying them all if I lived closer. The service was amazing, we had such a lovely waitress and the area was so cozy! The variety of smoothies is so unique too

Absolutely loved our brunch here. Had the sweet corn fritters, which were some of the best I've had in a long time. Plus the chicken wrap was so tasty and such good value. The orange juice was actually fresh too. We loved sitting outside and definitely recommend visiting here.

Wonderful brunch with family and friends. Sour bread, scrambled eggs and field mushrooms hit the spot. That’s my tummy rumble sorted 😀. Everyone else enjoyed their feast. All conversations ceased while tastebuds were teased. Helpful and happy staff made for a fantastic Sunday.
