Love this place. We live in Longfield but jump on the train over to this pub. You can walk your dogs along the river then sit in the garden (or in the pub as they're very dog friendly) and enjoy several pints of ale (there's usually 3 on). The interior of the pub is a treasure trove of antique bits and bobs too.
I knew The Bridges in its previous existence and it had far more atmosphere than this present reincarnation. However, the beer was good as was the food and service.
I have been coming to this pub for over 15 year's. The new owners have updated it making it a lovely and inviting space.
Just had a Christmas meal with friends and can’t praise the staff enough. The food was 5 star, reasonably priced and beautifully presented. I shall return! Well done all!!
