Stumbled upon this place when the cafe we were going to was full and I am glad it was! Absolutely amazing food, beautifully presented and tasted so good! Very friendly staff too! Will definitely be back. You don't need to visit the museum to use the cafe.
Thank you to all at the Nightingale cafe. It was my 60th birthday and I had been to Biggin Hill to 'fly in a spitfire', I had a wonderful time!! My wife and I then stopped at the Biggin Hill Memorial Museum Nightingale cafe for a bite of lunch. We were greeted by two lovely ladies who noticed the 'birthday badge' that my wife had insisted I wore. I told them I had just been in a Spitfire and was having a great day; we ordered drinks, sandwiches and cake. Our drinks and sandwiches arrived with little toasted spitfires on the sandwiches. Then my cake was served on a decorated plate accompanied by staff singing 'happy birthday'. It was such a lovely lunch made lovelier by the wonderful staff, the food was absolutely delicious too!! We cannot thank you enough not only for our super lunch but also your thoughtfulness and kindness. We would highly recommend the cafe, you don't have to go into the museum to use it, it is well worth a visit to refuel.

Wow what sandwiches ! I’ll go back for these any day … great size - filled to the brim and the right price too - where does that happen - HERE ! 😎 and all with a view of the runway of Biggin hill … no pictures sorry - at it too fast - ( Christmas feast or something 😂) and chef was fun too - and arty.
Perfect little spot for lunch. The food here is 5 star. The staff are lovely
