I am a demanding old Karen and know a good haircut when I see it having been to some of London's top salons. Moving to Manchester, I did find one excellent hairdresser who promptly hightailed it to Dubai. In the interim, my hair grew to almost waist length as I searched through reviews, reading through the lines, and found Melissa Timperley and, by accident Joe. I can honestly say this is joint first in the chart of the best haircuts I've ever had (and I was modelling in the 1970's). Joe listened to me and what I wanted and gave me the perfect cut. Importantly, a good five months after the cut and style, I can do what I want with my naturally curly hair and it looks good. Utterly delighted!

Had a beautiful haircut and wonderful experience at Mellissa Timperley salon . Melissa listen to what I liked and didn't and gave some ideas of different cuts and lots of tips on how to style my hair and products. All the staff are very knowledgeable and very friendly. I booked a curly haircut with Mia, and she was fantastic. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely at ease and really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. Not only did she give me a fabulous haircut that enhanced my curls, but she also shared so many helpful tips on how to maintain and style my hair at home. I left feeling confident and absolutely loving my new look. Highly recommend Mia and the team if you’re looking for a salon that truly knows how to work with curly hair!

Lovely salon. I'd been looking for a salon specialising in short, curly hair post chemotherapy. Victoria always asks how I am managing my hairstyle and explains how she is going to cut it before proceeding with the haircut. She then shows how to style it at the end. The stylists here wash your hair, colour it and cut it so you have 1 person looking after you from start to finish. The mints with the coffee are also lovely! Jo is really personable and easy to chat to. He always checks that I'm happy with the cut and whether there is anything I'd like him to tweak.
