We were fortunate to have checked in slightly earlier. Hotel receptionist provided details of the entertainment for the evening, and oasis and Brit pop tribute band. Unfortunately unable to get a table for the evening, understandable with the entertainment so would recommend booking a table at the time of your booking if you're staying. Good selection of drinks in the bar. The rooms are spacious, with all the amenities, iron with board, hairdryer, bath and shower for our room, TV, tea and coffee. Really pleased with our stay and look forward to staying again.

Although the room we had was a little dated, it was very clean. The furniture was sturdy. The bed was comfy. We needed extra pillows and they were in the cupboard. The breakfast was delicious and there was a lot of choice. Also the breakfast was cooked individually so it was fresh and hot. The staff are a real asset to the hotel and restaurant. Every single member of staff was so kind and polite, nothing was too much trouble.

We always use the Conningbrook on Christmas eve for our annual family get-together. George reserved a area for us, even provided a suitable chair for my 91 year old dad. We had a fantastic evening, the bar staff were quick and efficient, nothing is ever too much trouble.
Thank you George and the Conningbrook for another great evening to remember.
Would definitely recommend this place as the best in the area for family gatherings.

The Xmas Disco was amazing with a fab selection of music to suit all.

I do need to say .......I loved the food choices that were on offer and thank you for accommodating our younger members of the party with the kids menu on such a special night. It's the little touches like this that makes nights like these even more special.

Wedding on 14th September. Staff were amazing, food was absolutely fantastic. Venue was absolutely perfect for us. Everyone at the wedding said it was the best they’d ever been to. Very relaxed. Staff went out of their way to accommodate and were really amazing. Would highly recommend to everyone.
