Staying locally and was within walking distance so decided to give it a try. Bit dubious as I have several allergies, but they couldn't have been more accommodating. The food was absolutely top notch; well presented, fresh, tasty and piping hot. The service was friendly and attentive despite how busy they were. Book in advance to avoid disappointment, you definitely won't be disappointed!! Highly recommend 👌

Been going to this pub since I was a child, changed hands since then!! It’s in a beautiful village called Carlton. Now does Thai food which is very good, this place is always busy, did try to book a table a few days before but was fully booked, we stopped off for a drink and sat outside the front of the pub. Food still looks amazing main meals are about £15 plus but it’s good servings and good quality. Will definitely return as I have good memories of this place, next time I will book a table well in advance, would definitely recommend a visit.

We’ve visited this pub since I was a child and have many happy memories here. On our most recent visit, we chose not to eat, although the food looked delicious and wasn’t too badly priced.

They have a good selection of beer & ales and the bar snacks were tasty. Booking a table in advance to eat would be advised as it’s a popular spot for locals and visitors.

Will of course be returning in the future.

Me and my family went here a lot when we were younger. Haven't been in a few years I was hesitant to go back particularly for Sunday dinner since there are limited vegetarian options and most of their other veggie options just include added vegetables instead of alternatives such as tofu or jackfruit. However, the staff were very friendly and accommodating to the changes I asked for. Everything we ordered was very tasty, nice atmosphere.
