We had our wedding at Ponden mill this November, and we cannot give enough praise to the team. We knew as soon as we went to see the venue that it was for us it’s just suited us a couple and for the atmosphere we wanted for our day. The team were so friendly and just immediately understood what we were after. The communication was outstanding nothing was ever too much trouble and the support with booking accommodation was so helpful. The food I don’t even know where to start from the tasting night where we rolled home to on the day, the outside kitchen delivered. Our guests have not stopped talking about in particular our vegan guests who said it’s be the best food they have ever had. But it was the little touches that meant the most being saved a pizza for when the guest had left to enjoy just us two was so special. On the day the team were fantastic in helping the day run smoothly, checking in with us and making sure we were ok. Massive thank you to all especially Elkie who was our go to person for anything, and the whole team thank you all so much.

We got married at Ponden Mill in August this year and had an amazing day. Elkie and Francesca who run the show are lovely and chilled and they know what they are doing. Everything went very smoothly in the lead up and on the day which took away the stress. One of the reasons we chose Ponden was because it felt more laid back and friendly than some other wedding venues which felt quite 'stiff' in terms of what you could and couldn't do, as well as being able to set up the day before and stay in the attached cottage. The outside ceremony area is lovely and the inside doesn't need loads of decoration. The food and drinks from The Outside Kitchen were delicious too, many of our guests commented on how great the meal was Would definitely recommend Ponden as a wedding venue!

We had our wedding at Ponden Mill on 13 April 2024 and had the best day of our lives. If you are thinking about booking here as your wedding venue, do it! I can safely say we have no regrets. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, including the surroundings. We didn’t need to spend a lot on dressing the venue because it largely speaks for itself, and the lighting etc. is already there to make it look amazing on the photos. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and that was with very little effort from us on decoration! Elkie was our main contact and was just an absolute dream. I am a perfectionist and hyper organised so I very often don’t feel like people are as ‘on it’ as me, but I never once felt that with Elkie! She is so helpful, responsive and knowledgable. I always really appreciated her honest advice and guidance, and reassurance when we needed it. All of the team are great however. Everyone there both the day before, and the day of were so professional, helpful and friendly. The level of service really needs to be shouted about. I will do a separate review for the Outside Kitchen who do the food, but another bonus of booking Ponden is that they are your caterers and, wow, the food was insane!! We would be forever grateful to Elkie and team for all they did towards the absolute best day of our lives. If we could do it all again, we absolutely would!

We booked our wedding at Ponden Mill Weddings way back in the Summer of 2020. Fast forward to 23rd July 2022 and the Ponden Mill Weddings team were instrumental in making our day as fun and amazing as possible! Elkie and Jamie were on site for our wedding and accommodated us amazingly, whether it was running the bar, making sure our guests were happy or pressing play on our ceremony playlist - they absolutely smashed it! What a fantastic day! The venue is a beautiful canvas for any type of wedding - ours was very much a colourful, DIY festival themed event that came together beautifully. We're absolutely delighted with how everything turned out and could not recommend booking this venue more. Not only will you be booking a gorgeous venue in the heart of the Yorkshire Countryside, but you'll be looked after by the most amazing team! Thanks again, Mr & Mrs Thornton! x

We got married at Ponden Mill at the start of August and we had the most amazing day we are so glad we chose this venue for our wedding. The Venue itself is beautiful and you could get away with doing very little to dress it and it would still look great but there is plenty of scope for you to put your own style on it. The surrounding Yorkshire countryside is very picturesque, and we were lucky enough to have the weather to allow us to have the ceremony outdoors which we loved. We weren’t looking for a very formal wedding but a relaxed party atmosphere and the venue and the team really delivered on this ourselves and our guests had so much fun! The food and drinks were great genuinely the best I have had at a wedding and I wasn’t the only person who thought so. There were so many options to choose from and you certainly won’t go hungry. The whole team were amazing throughout the entire process and always on hand to answer any questions or deal with requests we had in the run to the wedding and on the day. Really helped us relax and enjoy the day. Massive thank you to Elkie and Jamie who were there on the day but also to wider team for your help in the build up you absolutely smashed. We could not have asked for a better day me, Jen and all our guests had the best time. Anyone looking to get married here I couldn’t recommend them enough. Thank you from Joe and Jen!
