I can only comment on the food here as we didn’t stay. We had Sunday lunch it was 12/10 absolutely delicious. The beef was cooked perfectly as was the veg and the Yorkshire pudding. The staff were fab and very attentive but not overly. Highly recommend for food and service x

Stayed here whilst up in the area on business. The rooms are dated (but undergoing refurbishment I understand) but acceptable. The staff are excellent and a good reason to give this place a try. We ate in the restaurant and both the food and service were very good

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights as a base to finish off our tour of all England's cathedrals. Thus we could easily reach Manchester, Blackburn, Bradford, Wakefield and Sheffield (and Derby on the way up). We were upgraded to a Superior room (209) up in an attic area. It was a lovely comfortable big room, although we did find the cold water a bit sporadic but the hot water made up for it. Full English breakfast, which we had, was really excellent - well cooked and presented. The continental was perhaps a bit more sparse. We ate in one evening and the quality of food was very good. There was plenty of parking, even on the Sunday early evening on arrival when the place was buzzing with Christmas guests. All was quiet in our room. The staff were friendly and helpful. This all added up to make it an enjoyable and memorable stay.

Had our wedding at this beautiful venue and it was everything we could have hoped for, and more. Healds Hall is beautiful and all the staff are so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and so many guests said how lovely the entire venue was. The food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Matt, the events coordinator is an absolute star. He made the planning so easy and helped to make the day absolutely perfect. Cannot recommend Healds Hall enough; the perfect wedding venue.
