Just like to give a big thank you to all the staff who were working on the 30th March 2024. I had to book an appointment to have my boy put to sleep as he was very ill. I could hardly talk when I phoned, the receptionist was so patient with me and got me in as soon as possible. The lady that dealt with us, I didn't get her name, I was a bit oblivious to what was going on to be honest. She was so kind, helping in anyway, she even said she'd wait for my son and daughter as they wanted to be there. I've never lost a pet in this way before, so it was a new experience for me. I was just glad we had these guys to support us. Rip Lui 2014-2024

Surprised to read some negative reviews from here. I have 3 cats that I’ve been bringing here for the last 5 years and the only negative I can think of is the odd occasion I’ve been kept waiting 10 mins for an appointment (which is nothing). Staff here are always so excellent. I believe the vet we met with today is called Bart (sorry if I misheard!) and he was so lovely, professional and calming while explaining how to treat our cat’s illness. We’ve been here countless times and never had a bad experience. It’s a 20 minute drive from our house and we have tonnes of vets closer to home but we prefer our cats to be in safe hands after having poor experiences with others vets around us. Thank you to everyone who works here for all your help over the last 5 years, we wouldn’t choose anywhere else to take our boys!

When I had to have my cat Lucky put to sleep the staff were amazing. They showed us empathy and compassion and it was handled in a very dignified manner. It was the little touches like letting me holding her as she went and the fur clippings and paw and nose prints that added to the meaningfullness. They made a very traumatic time, easier than I'd of imagined. I have another cat, Roamie who is looked after by them and that won't be changing! Thank you, to you all !

I had my 2 cats neutered and microchip done here they were amazing with them both as they were abit stressed as was in the carriers and didn't like them and were so polite and friendly towards myself knowing I was worried about leaving them so helpful in after care advice even chatted with me about their needs for after as I dropped them off so I did go shopping to get what needed before picking them up I've had no problems with my cats after 100% definitely would recommend them to others and will keep my cats registered here

Really friendly and professional. It take my dog a little bit of time to get used to new people but straight away he felt comfortable with all staff members he encountered. We've now been a couple of times and every time they've been helpful, calm, friendly and answered any and all questions.

I was really nervous about taking my very reactive nervous dog to the vets but they handled and treated by dog so very well. I was very happy as my dog and myself were not traumatised by the experience. Thank you so very much.

Have recently started using this branch following the departure of a much respected vet at another of the branches. We have been really impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the team. The vet that looked after our pets this week was extremely competent and personable.

My cat was hit by a car and sadly died, a stranger took my cat to this vets. In my sadness I forgot to bring anything to bring my cat home in and was prepared to wrap her in my jacket when I realised. The staff here gave me a carrier to bring her home in, cleaned mud, blood and other more gruesome matter from her and wrapped her in a blanket. Honestly they went above and beyond for a cat that was beyond help. Couldn’t be more grateful, thank you so much!

Saved my dogs life, Marley and he's owners are very grateful, thank you.update four months later Marley has insulin twice a day he's lost he's gained weight and back to normal,update 8 months later Marley is fantastic only had a wobble one day with the heat sorted out with a little honey in mouth, 12 months on and he's doing well, expect to pay out for medication but the extra time you have your mate is priceless.Marley is doing very well 2yrs 3 months and controlling he's diabetes, December 26th 2024 Marley is 14 today, and 3 years medicated, doing really well, happy birthday. 9/2/25 Sadly My boy Marley gave up and we did the correct thing by him, I will miss him terribly.

Kind, helpful and friendly reception staff.. in person and over the phone. Vets was lovely and very gentle with my little dog. Have helped me to find cost beneficial ways to afford costs for my dog and offer a great service. My dog and I are looking forward to going there again.

I can’t express how grateful we are for the care that Willows provided our Border Terrier, Martha. From initial consultation with Eugenio, the very tricky operation itself, the round the clock aftercare and the ongoing support from Yolanda, the veterinary nurses and the whole team. Our own local vet referred our beautiful girl to Willows for further diagnostics and possible treatment plan for suspecting Mast cell tumour in the abdomen. We received a call within 24hrs of receipt of the referral from Willows to book in, initially the appointment was a little too far in the future, but we were assured that every effort would be made to bring the appointment forward, another call received later that day did in fact bring an appointment fwd. On the day of arrival the reception team were friendly and we had only a short wait to meet our designated specialist Mark Dunning, Mark was one of the most kind and compassionate people we've met, he was calm and patient with our dog, he spoke to her with respect and not over her, he was incredibly knowledgeable about the breed specifics and understood our concerns and feelings around the seriousness of the illness. He also, was very practical around what would or wouldn't be suitable for a dog of her age,and what would provide the best and kindest outcome for her. After the CT Mark called us straight away to let us know that our dog was fine and was recovering then discussed the findings. Sadly for her the findings were not good. Sadly we had let our beautiful girl go the day after her appointment at Willows, When Mark heard the news he showed great compassion to our situation, and although we know we did the best thing for her, Mark was able to reiterate our own thoughts and justification for our decision, this isn't something you always experience, especially when your seeing a new specialist with no previous working relationship with your pet. Because of Willows we have been able to take some comfort in an incredibly painful time that we possibly wouldn't have had,had we not agreed to be referred. I can't recommend this centre enough.

Absolutely first class. Saw Will, who was outstanding. He is one of the nicest and most helpful vets we have come across - he was very knowledgeable, patient and caring, and we trusted him implicitly with our boy. Can’t fault any of the staff; the reception ladies were lovely, as was the veterinary nurse we saw. We were seen quickly, they kept us informed and were really kind despite being busy, and I believe they really tried to keep costs down for us too. 100% recommend this vets. They made a difficult day much easier. Thanks Willows!

Rodney, our 3 year old Maine Coon Cat, had developed a slight limp. A visit the our Vet was very quickly followed by a referral to Willows Veterinary Centre. Bit of a coincidence that Rodney has a little sister by a different mother. She is a red wire haired daschund and is called Willow. I digress. It was decided to give Rodders a new hip and if all went well another new hip on the other side sometime later. After a year Rodders was re-assessed and unfortunately the new hip had failed. Various solutions were discussed but it was decided to give Rodney floating hips. One at a time. Currently we have Rodney in his onsuite recovery cage for the next two weeks. Alexis and the rest of the staff at Willows are absolutely amazing, dedicated to the care of their patients and the patients owners. Rodney soon let's you know if he doesn't like you or what you are doing. During his examinations he was totally placid. I will never hesitate to refer to Willows if any of my pets need top notch Vet care in the future. Attached photo of Rodders in his unsuited bedroom.
