I recently took my cat Bella to the vets to have her spayed, and I couldn't be happier with the service we received. We have been with Pennards for five years with our shih tzu Bubbles, they have always been very helpful, friendly, accommodating and caring. She went to the puppy classes too which was great for her socialising We would definitely recommend this clinic, as well as Sevenoaks when Bubbles was neutered there

I’ve been with the vet practice for over seven years. The care has always been excellent. And really helpful. Leaving a review today as my cockapoo had surgery and everything was superb. Lots of info before and after -sent on email as well . Great support from the vet team. And one dog who is still excited to go to the vets!

We have been very fortunate in having Pennards London Rd Tonbridge during the last 5 years; when our retriever of 9 months got hit by 2 cars , they suspended surgery and came out to assist, by good fortune he recovered from his serious injuries and subsequently he has received fantastic care as and when circumstance dictate. The entire team take a genuine interest in all of their pet clients and being a member of Pennards Club, the benefits are a bonus so I can only sing their praises which was not the case with our previous experiences at another Vet Practice who were found wanting when our late dog was in need of serious attention. So if in doubt do choose Pennards London Rd for your caring vetinary practice.

I cannot fault the care my old dog received taking him to the age of 17 years . And now I have a new pup who also is receiving excellent care .who is now 14 months. Pennard Vets are amazing. My cat was recently spayed. The care she received was outstanding. We had phone calls on the day after the surgery and the day after. We have had 2 follow-up appointments, and we're left knowing everything and what to look out for. All the staff that came into contact with Lettie gave her the best care. I genuinely felt they had her best interests at heart, and I knew I was leaving her in their capable hands. I really can't praise the team enough. Thank you for all you did. 5 stars isn't nearly enough for you

I have been using this veterinary practice for many years. I wouldn't trust my dogs with anyone else. The advice and treatment are always considered and thorough. The staff are polite and well organised and helpful with any enquiries.

Took my poorly dog to the vets. They have been sooo helpful and patient about the whole process, medication and post op care. I dealt with a wonderful lady at the reception (called Jenny), she is one of the most pleasant and happy people you would ever come across in a veterinary clinic and she will make your day :) We dealt with vets Vicky and Philip and both have been amazing. Vicky has been following up with her care of our dog (he was in a cone for over a month). I was very worried in the beginning, but there was no fuss with the vets completing the insurance paperwork, so its been a smooth journey. My dog is all recovered now, thanks to everyone at Culverden Vets :) If you are looking for reliable Vets, i would highly recommend this place.

I want to say a heartfelt thank you to Matt Wilkinson from Culverden Vets in Wadhurst. Last week, we faced the heart-breaking decision to put our beautiful cat, Biscuit, to sleep. We are deeply grateful to Matt for being so calm and empathetic towards us during such a distressing time. This was the first time my husband and I had ever had to make this difficult decision, and Matt talked us through each stage with great care and understanding. Thank you for making a terrible time that bit better for two heartbroken people.

Excellent, 5* all round. Empathetic, professional, knowledgeable, gentle and friendly. I called my usual surgery in Wadhurst, the receptionist and I agreed an appointment for the following day. About 10 mins later she called me back to say that she had spoken to a vet and their advice was to come earlier. I really appreciate the fact that she took it upon herself to seek out this information. I went to the Crowborough surgery. Jennie, nurse practitioner saw how nervous my dog was and went out of her way to befriend him. Our appointment was with Dr Evans who was extremely thorough in both her examination and advice. She was really kind and patient. Thank you Culverden Vets, Wilfred and I would not go anywhere else.

Always a good experience with welcoming staff and kind vets. My dog is pleased when she sees where she's going and knows there will be a tasty treat after treatment (she's mainly Labrador so no surprise)

We have been using Pattenden Vets since they opened but have spent a LOT of time there since 2nd August with 2 poorly cats. I cannot recommend Rob the vet enough and am so grateful to him for all the care we have received. Said a very hard goodbye to my 15 year old cat this morning and wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to take care of him. All reception staff have always been so lovely too and me, Thomas & Freddie are very grateful to you all. Thank you x

Mum has been using Pattenden Vet Clinic since they started and she cannot praise them high enough. We recently took her new puppy there for her jabs and a few other things, they are really friendly, helpful and polite whilst remaining professional. They are not overly expensive and we can definitely recommend them for all of your pets needs.

After being failed by our previous vets, Polly saw my Anatolians and her guidance and medical knowledge has been a game changer. I can't thank our local vets enough for the incredible care they provided for my dog. My dog had a persistent eye issue that took a long time to heal, but the team was patient, compassionate, and thorough every step of the way. They went above and beyond to ensure my dog was comfortable and well-cared for, and their expertise and dedication truly made a difference in my dog's recovery. My second time visiting with my super nervous rescue pup. Both times they’ve been amazing and really taken the time to gain his trust. They haven’t been the easiest appointments (jabs and eye problems) but both were successful and I came away feeling like they actually care about him rather than just a money making machine like our old vets. So glad we made the move to here and would recommend it to anyone! Actually makes me feel at ease taking them to the vets!

I took my dog there to have her yearly jab and kennel cough vaccine. They was very good and quick the reception team was very nice and polite. The only bad thing was the vet didn’t give my dog a treat to try and calm my dog down when she was anxious about the jab.

I rang today because my kitten had an issue with a wound which was bleeding. Despite closing in 15minutes I was told to bring my kitten along to be seen. When I arrived I was seen after the vet should have closed but was reassured that this was not a problem and that they were more than happy to treat my kitten despite this making them late finishing. I was very grateful to the staff for all the care they took of my kitten and would happily recommend them to anyone.

My poor boy (British shorthair) has been suffering for a while with no solution from a previous vet. Took him to Pinebank and they identified the issues immediately. A week later, his infection is clearing up, 10 teeth removed and he is finally doing so much better. I can't thank you all enough. The entire team are absolutely fab. Took my 3y old cat to this Vet because my regulat vet had no cover over Christmas.they diagnosed my cat an hour later and gave him some treatment( throat infection ) . My boy still recovering but I'm so happy I left the vet with answers and solutions which most of the time is not the case. Thank you to the lovely lady Vet xx

Flynn, my 13 month old labrador, had a retrobulbar abscess caused by a foreign body that got into his system. We tried conventional specialist treatment (CT scan/investigative surgery/ultrasound etc) but the swelling kept reappearing. Birgit brought together a mix of Chinese medicine, homeopathy, plant/herbs and acapuncture which over a period of only a week reduced the swelling and saw Flynn move towards his old self. Probably the foreign body dissolved itself we cant know but his system was strengthened by her work to enable him to deal with it himself. Birgit's wonderful way of working with animals meant that he was able to be confident and cooperative with her - she really went that extra mile - especially through those early danger days - helping me to feel supported and know Flynn was having the best treatment for him by a wonderful vet.

I cannot thank Birgit and her incredible team enough for the care and support they provided for my beloved dog, Blue. From the very beginning, Birgit’s holistic and natural approach to veterinary care was exactly what I had been searching for. Her expertise and the wonderful therapies and remedies she recommended gave Blue a longer, happier, and healthier life than we ever imagined possible. The entire team at the practice has been so kind and compassionate. Every phone call, every medication order, and every word of support meant the world to me during some very difficult times. They genuinely care, not just for the animals but also for the families they help. When we sadly lost Blue, at age 16, the thoughtful sympathy card they sent with personal messages from the whole team brought us so much comfort. It was such a kind and touching gesture. Blue was a truly special dog—a beautiful soul who brought immense joy to our lives and touched the hearts of everyone who met him. He wasn’t just our pet; he was family, and in many ways, he rescued us as much as we rescued him. Birgit and her team gave us precious extra time with him, and for that, I will always be grateful. I highly recommend Birgit and her team to anyone looking for compassionate, expert care for their pets. Just a quick review for Dr Birgit. We took our little 7 year old Chihuahua x Yorkie( Lily) to Birgit when she was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. That was over 7 months ago and Lily is doing fine. Quality of life is excellent and shows no signs of deteriating. In fact She's as active and cheeky as ever. I think the outcome with a traditional vet would have been pretty poor and would have meant a lot of vet visits and separation not to mention some big bills. We have not been apart from Lily once and could not be more pleased with her treatment and of course the fact that she is still with us and doing so well. Thank you Birgit. You are wonderful.

In late September 2023 my Labrador sustained what I thought was an injury to his lower back. He was very distressed and in a lot of pain. Naturally I rushed him to the vets and after a couple of weeks on anti-inflammatory and pain relief drugs he wasn't better. We were referred to specialist vets for scans, MRI's and tests to discover he had a degenerative condition called IVDD (bulging discs). Treatments were offered but all of them were invasive, carried huge risks and crazy expensive with no guarantee of success. He was also on very limited exercise which, any Labrador owner would know is very hard to manage because as a breed they need lots of exercise! After researching his condition and looking at alternative treatments I started taking him to hydrotherapy which is where I was recommended Birgit. Being keen to avoid surgery/invasive treatments and the damaging effects of him taking long term drugs I contacted her and we began our journey of acupuncture, Chinese herbs and homeopathic treatments. Birgit has been incredible, she has worked her magic and as I write this today I have a healthy well exercised Labrador not needing surgery, invasive treatment or drugs. I honestly can't recommend Birgit enough, we are both so grateful and I will ALWAYS champion the holistic route for any of my pets health needs. Birgit, we both thank you so much, you are so very special to us.

I wanted to post a recommendation. My little rescue cat Lily, was diagnosed with stomatitis a year or so ago by conventional vets. I did not resonate with the treatment they wanted to give her, so went holistic via research on the Internet. However after some months of improvement I went to Birgit for an assessment. To cut a long story short, my Lily is impossible to get to the vet, for me anyway, but lovely Valentina, the new vet, has made several visits to monitor Lily's progress and supplements, and give her acupuncture. I just wanted to say that after Valentina's visit today, our little Lily called for us and showed herself rolling around showing her tummy, something hardly ever seen. Even though I have done lots of research for Lily's health, it is so reassuring to have Valentina to look at her and examine her every so often as Lily also needs acupuncture for her emotional health and it is obvious that she is much happier. And also Valentina is wonderful in examining Lily in corners, in cupboards or other hidey holes. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you so much Valentina and Birgit. Our dear little girl is so much better after her hard start in life.

This is, by far, the best veterinary service we have ever known. The vets, nurses and receptionists work as an amazing team and provide the best care we have ever experienced. All of our animals are registered here and have all received excellent care and attention, especially in the saddest of circumstances where we had our elderly lab, Maia, put to sleep. The compassion shown to us and her was exemplary and we received a beautiful handwritten card, signed by all the team, which included her nose and paw prints for us to keep. The vet, Tim, made a very sad situation so much easier by explaining everything and letting us take as much time with her as we wanted. We received her ashes back within two days in a beautiful photo frame and some "forget me nots" to plant for her. Lovely location, lovely vets and total value for money for the excellent service received. Thank you so much for taking such care of our lovely Maia. Xx

The best vets!! My dog use to be petrified at his old vets. Would shake uncontrollably and run for the door. Which gave me major anxiety at the thought of taking him to the vet with how he behaved. Now at bobbing hill he pulls me to the door, goes in and makes himself at home. Lays right out on the floor, has to say hello to everyone in there. He thinks of it as a day out even after surgery there which I thought would change his mind. Everyone he’s seen just love on him, get down to his level and play and give him attention which I think is what’s won him over. They all love him as their own. It’s such a pleasant experience for the both of us. They are super transparent with prices, there are no hidden costs like other vets. Yes slightly more expensive compared to other vets but I would pay that and more for the treatment me and my dog get. After his surgery in the following days I’ve had calls to check up on him and ask if I need anything etc.. they want to see him post opp 2 times before giving him the all clear and these are FREE!! I would have paid anyway but it was such a nice surprise as other vets would certainly charge for check ups. It just shows they care. It’s beautifully decorated and feels super homely. Always so so clean. Thank you for everything so far in the 3 months we’ve been with you. I so wish I had moved him sooner! Glad we have found a vets for life💙

This is the best vets. I have nothing but positive things to say about Bobbing Hill vets. All of the staff here are fabulous. Kind and caring and the most personable and the best at what they do. They have looked after my cat's bad eyes for two months with a very lucky outcome. We have visited today, a nice visit with a nice cup of coffee and a Christmas present for the boy 😻. I cannot recommend these vets enough. They have been so kind and caring while looking after my rabbit Lily. They always made appointments available, often at very short notice as her health deteriorated. The compassion and empathy they displayed at the end of Lily’s life was comforting and respectful. I had her cremated and they all signed a sympathy card with a touching hand written message. They also had taken footprints and a cutting of her hair. I can’t thank all the staff enough for making Lily’s last few months a peaceful and happy experience. I will be forever grateful ❤️

Covid safe (we waited outside till we were called), really prompt and really reasonable service charges. Warm friendly welcome from staff, patrons and their pets. Amazingly beautiful location. We took our Dubai Feral Mau StreetCat rescue, Shadow Cat too Putlands today for a check up for the 1st time. Maria, Shadow Cats physician, was really knowledgeable, empathetic and really understanding of both our concerns and put our minds at rest. We felt immediately that Shadow Cat was in safe hands. We thought Shadow Cat would be nervous and a bit grumpy like he normally has been but he took too Maria incredibly quickly like they were old friends and she made him feel at ease as she checked him over and treated him with a bespoke Feline health MOT and gave him a few paws full of healthy treats for being a good Cat. The advice she gave us was incredibly helpful and we were allowed too pay over the phone when we got Shadow Cat home. He's now really chilled out and happy after his trip too Putlands, snoozing in a sunny spot like a mini pan-fur. Putlands and Maria were amazing. Definitely a 10/10 from me, the wife & the Shadow Cat.
