I have been using Avenues for about 20 years for all my pets. They are so kind and even my reactive dog is happy and doesn’t react to any of the staff. Always made to welcome and they have been really helpful with insurance claims. They genuinely care and have the best advice.

The Avenue vet has a very sound aim to give satisfactory service for both pet and their owner. The staff are really supportive and attempt to gain the best possible outcome of treatment for the animal being treated, furthermore cared for. Excellent veterinary practice.

I recently took my cat to Avenues Veterinary Clinic for neutering, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff was incredibly kind, professional, and reassuring from start to finish. They took the time to explain the procedure, answer all my questions, and ensure my cat was comfortable. The surgery went smoothly, and my cat recovered quickly with minimal discomfort. The clinic provided clear aftercare instructions and even checked in afterward to see how he was doing. Their compassion and expertise truly made the whole process stress-free. Jenifer and her team came out to my mums house today to put her unwell cat to sleep. The care and compassion was amazing. Something we knew that was coming because she sadly had cancer. But was dreading. But Jenifer was so reassuring and the level of care was outstanding. I only wish I lived nearer to have her as my vet for my cats. Thank you so much

Such a wonderful practice. All staff are so welcoming and compassionate. We have had 2 dogs as ‘clients’ of theirs and you can tell they truly love animals. This is so important as they always have their best interests in mind in all that they do!

Lovely & compassionate staff. We had to use them recently for our bulldog who’s experiencing some eye problems. The service we received here was amazing and you can tell how much they care for your animal. Absolutely brilliant! So lovely and friendly. Very patient and kind. No rushing - they want the best for your pet. My old dog had to have teeth removed and the team were amazing. Kept me informed and updated and my dog was so happy and calm, when normally she’s super nervous. Even showed my 4yo daughter where the dog slept and how to take her bandage off. So sweet, I’m very grateful. Definitely recommend, what a great experience. Thank you to the whole team.

I want to say a huge thank you. A vet who actually cares and takes his time to check and get to the root of the problem without costing the earth. I was told to bring my dog straight down when I told him her symptoms, he gave a full examination and explained everything that was happening with her, which turned out to be some internal bleeding. She is now back to normal health after just one visit. I have 3 dogs, if I ever need a vet again, this is where I'll be taking them. Thank you.

I’m not one for writing reviews but I feel I need to on this occasion! Sanjay is an absolutely fantastic vet, he has treated my English Bulldog & my kitten. So very kind, caring, professional & very reasonably priced! I would definitely recommend Oak Vets!

Been to 4 vet's so far. This hospital blew the others out of the water. The level of care and professionalism stood out massively. Hatfield is the first place I felt confident to book my frenchie in for nose surgery. Andrea operated on my dog. She was fantastic. I have only had bad experiences with other vet's in the past, Medivet being the absolute worst, so avoid!! I am thrilled with service and level of aftercare.11/10

I’ve been to many vets for my dog storm, she has a hereditary eye problem and was taken to the RVC as an emergency due to an eye ulcer from a previous surgery that wasn’t done right at a different vet, the staff at RVC were so kind and comforting and explained everything so well. The best veterinary services I have ever experienced and thanks to them my storm didn’t lose her site!

Expensive like all veterinary places but not exorbitant like them either. The highest levels of expertise and equipment can be found here. Wherever you go now you’ll need deep pockets or high levels of insurance from a good company.

Genuinely blown away but this outstanding facility and all the lovely happy staff that work here. Our sausage was admitted for investigative work today and the love and support received for her was amazing. Our vet Sophie was remarkable. So kind and caring but clearly very knowledgeable and excellent at her job and able to relay information in a really understandable way. For the first time ever I had no problem leaving my little sausage as I knew in my heart she was going to be so loved and looked after and she definitely was. She’s a very anxious soul and she was unusually happy at this vets and not obviously shaking and anxious like she usually would be. The reception team were also fantastic and incredibly friendly. Will definitely be recommending to everyone!

Excellent specialist centre with professional specialists. Detailed diagnosis given along with kindness and care to my pet Florence who is a very anxious little dog. Julian was very thorough, explained the procedure and diagnosis in detail, has followed up with us since leaving with advice and blood results. Highly recommend for complex animal health issues and specialised care.

My precious Tyger was referred to Davies as there was a problem with one of his eyes and our own Vet had said the eye would probably be have to be removed 😞 We were treated with empathy and the staff were so caring and treated Tyger with such care and concern.The process for Tyger was explained from start to finish and concern was shown to myself too. Tyger had surgery and is now at home making a good recovery my heart felt thanks to all at Davies for the caring treatment of Tyger 😻

I’ve been to a number of vets throughout the years and Hope have set the bar incredibly high. We recently relocated from the UK to Dubai with our chihuahua Kobe and they were incredibly caring & supportive throughout. We worked closely with Sara during the process and she is one in a million. These people can't be praised enough. The staff are all friendly and professional. The location is a bit out of the way but is a lovely setting. But most of all they are proper vets more concerned about the welfare of the animals above all else. I refuse to take my pets anywhere else. So should you.

Wonderful independent vets in a quiet setting outside Bovingdon. The team at Hope are kind, caring, and welcoming. We're first-time dog owners, and they're great at helping us understand the things we need to be doing for our new family member. Would thoroughly recommend.

Took our new puppy there after bringing him home at 8 weeks. Every interaction I have had with Hope Vets has been excellent. As a first time dog owner, the team at Hope Vets have been so helpful, and provided reassurance and guidance when needed. No question is too silly or unimportant to them. I can't underline how nice it is to be dealing with such people. Our pup is very young and was invited to Hope Vets free puppy socialisation classes. The format of the classes is quite informal, which makes for a nice and chilled atmosphere. Three sessions are provided, taking between 30-60 mins depending on the energy levels of the pups. This was an excellent opportunity to help our puppy get used to meeting other dogs in a safe environment. Gentle encouragement, toys and even some yummy treats were provided. It was also an opportunity to meet with owner puppy owners to exchange stories and advice. Quick shout out to Lizzy who was running the classes, we found them very useful! I cannot fault the facilities or services provided. Aside from the socialisation classes, our pup's first check up was also stress free and informative. On site you can find ample parking. Inside, it's also possible to browse a small selection of Kong toys, lickimats, and pet food. Prices are all reasonable.

Could not recommend this veterinary surgery highly enough. They’ve always been kind and caring looking after my much loved cat over the years. When he was sick they really pulled out all the stops to give him the best treatment and care. Today sadly at 17 years old, he had to be put to sleep and again the team at Animalism were fantastic not just with my pet but with his blubbering mum! Took the cat with some ear problems. Was dealt with brilliantly by the super friendly and efficient team. They managed the medicine so it didn’t cost too much (advised to go back next day when a smaller version that we need would be available). We mentioned that we are looking into getting a dog and the vet provided us with a fact sheet they had authored, which across 2 pages of printed A4 paper, I learned the most valuable lessons as a dog novice. I’ll include here because this is great advice that everyone should see. What a brilliant practice and amazing people! Thank you.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Our girl had difficulties delivering her pups and these were incredible. Sonia was the vet on hand and if it wasn’t for her expertise and being able to work under pressure, we would have lost the pups and who knows what our girl would have gone through. She kept her calm and informed us all the way through. I can’t think the team enough. And even on check up, Sonia couldn’t be more helpful!!! Thank you

We had to have our little Loki put to sleep and everyone was lovely. In the lead up to this the vets did everything they could to help him

I'm an inexperienced dog owner. The vets and all staff have been very understanding of that. They've given great advice, been accommodating of appointments at short notice and just generally really helpful. They send reminders of appointments, are able to rearrange when circumstances change and the fees are reasonable. I'm very pleased I have my dog registered here. I feel she's well looked after. My only comment would be parking can be difficult!

I took my 15 year old male cat yesterday 24 th August 2022 as a Emergency appointment due to him not being well for the last 30 hours. The receptionist was very helpful, polite and caring. I got a appointment very quickly saw the vet which done tests and injections on my cat explained everything which was wrong with my cat. You can tell all the staff that work here love and really care for the animals Expensive price's but worth the money.

The staff were very sensative and caring when i took my little dog to be cremated..when i collected him , i was overwhelmed by the kind gestures that was given along with his ashes , a hand written card and some seeds to plant in his memory . The staff were very understanding and caring when i came in to collect my boy...thankyou Highfield staff .
