We took our large Bouvier de Flanders to the vet, very ill at a nine we thought the worst. We saw Paula, we have had pets for many years, but Paula did an examination of Poppy, who due to her size is not an easy dog to examine, but we have never seen a vet undertake such a thorough examination. Also the diagnosis was difficult to find, so Paula sought a second opinion. Also towards the end of the consultation Paula gave us three answers to the illness, then on top of that asked how our financial position a gave us three options of cost. Normally we would get a referral and a huge bill. We chose what option to take, then Paula gave us the medication and said she would call us for an update. We will always ask for Paula in the future. Was referred for an emergency appointment for my little chihuahua that had a piece of wood embedded in his eye ball and unfortunately had to have surgery. Anna, the ophthalmologist was reassuring and really nice and done a great job with him. Everyone from the nurses to the receptionists were friendly and helpful. They helped with with the insurance side of it as well, which I am grateful for. Would definitely recommend them.

Wanted to mention and thank Seadown Vet Shafak for being so thorough in looking after our beloved cat Munchie. After several weeks of issues with a non- healing wound to his tail Shafak managed to find the cause..a broken tooth that had caused a mouth abcess. It would appear this caused Munchie to start attacking his tail to distract from his painful mouth. It is thanks to Shafak Munchie is finally on the mend. Our pug had to have an emergency operation due to an ulcer on her eye. She was seen the very next day after a referral from our vets. All of the staff from the surgeon to the receptions were brilliant. I was very worried about our dog as well as claiming on insurance for the very first time. They made me feel at ease, explained all options and gave clear instructions for her recovery. Can’t thank everyone enough!
