Absolute lifesavers! We rushed our little Milo to the clinic, worried he had a break or fracture. The team was so kind and told us to come straight in. Thankfully, it turned out to be just a bad sprain, and they had him patched up and comfortable in no time. The care and attention they gave Milo was incredible, and to top it off, it was affordable! We couldn’t be more grateful for their quick and gentle service. Highly recommended! 10/10 thank you so much everyone that helped :))

The best veterinary practice around. If you want a vet that puts your fur babies first, then this is the place to go. The reception and pharmacy staff do an amazing job, always going above and beyond to help. They too are all caring animal loving people. So expect your pet to be stroked and fussed over. I lost my boy Diego last year to Heart failure and all the way through his illness, I was given support and most of all understanding.Thanks to Guilia (vet) I was able to have several months more with Diego. Megan (Reception) is amazing, when I lost my Diego, she totally understood my heartbreak and walked with me every step of the way. The empathy and understanding she shown, will never be forgotten, she’s a real Gem. I still attend here with my other dog and I know he is in safe hands, I highly recommend it to everyone I meet. I’ve finally found a place where…The animal comes first before money! The only issue I have is the parking. It can sometimes get a little overcrowded, but since they installed the number plate booking in service, it seems to have improved slightly. This is no reflection of the actual service you receive.

I can't recommend Animal Trust Failsworth enough! It felt perfect from the start. The receptionist was very friendly and totally calmed me down. Tasha, the nurse who saw Penny, was amazing, so caring and professional; you could tell she loved animals. She made sure Penny was comfortable and well cared for. What I love is that it's a non-profit that truly prioritises the animals first. The care is awesome, the prices are fair, and the staff go above and beyond. They're honest and upfront, making sure the pets get exactly what they need without pushing extra stuff. The service from everyone was top-notch. I'm thrilled with how Penny was treated, and we'll totally be back. If you want a vets that genuinely cares, this is the place!

Swapped to this vets with my dog over 5 years ago and so glad we did. Being an elderly dog we've had a few health concerns over the years. The staff have always been great, getting her in quickly when needed and being patient with her. They were always upfront and honest and didn't make her go through any unnecessary treatment. Unfortunately we had say goodbye to her recently, again the vet who we saw and the staff were fantastic. Even though it was booked as a routine appointment they didn't rush us and gave us all the time we needed to make a decision and say goodbye.

Called into the vets with my dog very worried I was welcomed with a smile. Didnt wait long and was brought through by the vet who straight away made me feel at ease and loose my fear. She handled my baby with care and treated her and fingers crossed it’s like a miracle has happened. Thank you so much highly recommend fantastic vets.

I would like to thank all the people who helped my beautiful betsy get her wings its 3 moths since she passed over the rainbow and it still hurts but the ladies were absolutley brilliant with her and passed away with dignity also they were very very helpful with the after care so thanks ladies a credit to your job from andy and betsy xx

Absolutely amazing service. When I called to explain how poorly our little Harry was the young lady fitted me in in-between appointments. Martin the Vet was superb, he explained in great detail what the situation was and was very real, his advice and treatment SAVED OUR HARRY’S LIFE, we will be forever grateful for your time, advice, treatment and understanding, you helped us make the right decision, i can’t thank you enough. Within an hour Harry was fighting fit, 24 hours later he is back to his normal self. Bonny even took time out the next day to call and make sure everything was ok, excellent service all round from start to finish. We have been with Mount Rd Vets for years and would highly recommend. Amazing practice, professional vets who genuinely care for your pet, explain everything in a way non-vet people understand and all the staff are kind and friendly and help to make what can be a traumatic experience for both pet and owner a lot calmer! There's also a little car park, which is so helpful being on a busy main road, and a separate dog and cat waiting area, fantastic for nervous scaredy cats who don't enjoy vets or dogs. I would definitely recommend this practice as staff who care for the pet and the parent!

Fantastic experience here today. reception staff is lovely and friendly. Was seen quickly. Everything was straightforward! Vet was very nice and good with our puppy.

Staff were lovely, vet was kind and helpful, price was reasonable; can't ask for more. Best of all my poor cat who had fleas is on the mend, only a few days after taking the pill and cleansing the flat. Can't be happier!

We brought our moggy Kimi in on Monday, for what we knew was to be a final visit. She was 20.5 years old and had been on a downward path in the recent years / months. The last few weeks were looking bleaker and over the weekend she deteriorated very quickly until she didn’t want to do anything and seemed to be in pain. On arrival we were looked after by Pola and Katie who realised the situation very quickly and were so kind and considerate to us. They said they would organise a canular to be inserted so they could administer the required injection, but Kimi passed away before they could. I guess the upheaval of the ‘trip to the vets’ (which she always hated, in her youth) and everything was just to much and she couldn’t hang on any longer. We were given some ‘clippings’ of Kimi’s fur etc in a little glass vile, to keep as a remembrance and we said we wanted to take her home to be buried in our garden, along with her mum and son. My wife went to the desk to pay for the visit, but was told there would be no charge. Although this is not a ‘money thing’ we found this to be over and above what we might expect and a lovely gesture. We left with Kimi wrapped in a towel and were finally given a condolence card, signed ‘all our love, Yew Tree Vets’, which again was such a nice thing for you to have done. We have used your surgery for all 3 of our cats over a number of years and have always been very happy with the service we have received, but yesterday’s visit left us feeling so heart warmed that you all can care so much for pets and owners alike. Thanks for all your efforts over the years.

I am so pleased with every part of service and care from Yew Tree Vets. Having only ever been in and out for immunisations in the past, i have just endured frequent visits over the past 9 weeks receiving treatment for an ocular tear with my dog Louie. Me and louie received excellent care and advice. They were also lenient and supportive when i was worried about deterioration finding me a same day appointment and were very empathetic. Had to call to confirm Casper’s prescription details today. As always nothing was too much trouble. Dealt with Chloe who went above and beyond to sort things out. The staff are all so compassionate and dedicated to our “boxer boys” Casper and Paddy. We could note ask for better care and support no matter how big or small the problem. Had an emergency with our Cocker Spaniel Bella last night, (22nd December) she was chocking on a chewy stick. In the car we thought we were losing her. I cannot tell you the panic we had. We were met with 3 lovely, calm members of staff who saw to Bella immediately and knew exactly what to do. Within a few minutes Bella was back to her normal, happy self. I cannot praise or thank the staff enough for saving our girl . Our family, including Bella wish you all a wonderful Christmas. 🐾🐾❤️

I have had to bring two of my dogs here for specialist treatment and the care and compassion from everyone was amazing. Alex is doing a great job of looking after our dog Maisy. I know she has her best interests at heart and will help her as much as she can. It’s so reassuring when your pet is unwell that there are people who will go above and beyond to help them. After moving house and changing vets they found a heart murmur which needed immediate treatment. We were referred to Woodcroft for this, I was concerned after reading some of the negative reviews on Google but I needn’t have been. Our appointment was with Zuzi and she explained everything in detail and took excellent care of teddy. She rang with updates and has stayed in touch to see how he is getting on. Excellent service and would recommend. Yes it’s very expensive but that’s the same across the board for most veterinary services.

I got charged £85 for ear drops and 11 tablets I found the ear drops on Amozon for £16 and the tablets on vets 24/7 for £10.56 with a prescription from the vet talk about being ripped of 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I’ve been with Regans Vets for 15yrs and found everyone of the vets caring and professional but most importantly very engaging with pets and owners. Everyone complains about vet fees but when you think about years of training and dedication in the field of vets and animal health it’s understandable but you do have options to use other vets and go online with prescriptions. I owe my vets especially Chelsea and Dermot from the Avenue vets for there care and compassion my pets and ourself have received. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Lovely caring and helpful staff, when our puppy was really sick they went above and beyond to take care of him and he is now a strapping 2 year old

John was so helpful, was able to see my dog really quickly who was struggling with anal gland issues and my registered vet was closed despite saying open online. Reasonably priced too which was a shock for a vets! Will 100% contact John before my own vets going forward in case he can help.

Got a quote from Vets4pets to have my Dog Poppy's teeth cleaned and 2 teeth removed quoting just under £1000 😲 contacted John at Abbywood vets and after a consultation and then returning a few days later to have her teeth cleaned and 2 teeth removed only charged, £540. He was so professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him.

John is a very experienced vet who saw and treated my dog. Did the assessment quickly, gave her pain relief and antibiotic injections as she was too unwell to eat. We saw John on 2 consecutive days for treatment and then by text and photos to check progress. My dog is 12 now and has been to John on three occasions where I needed quick and accurate decision making and treatment. I have every confidence and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the surgery as an independent vets where animal welfare comes first!

My spaniel had to be admitted for a couple of days as he had just been diagnosed with diabetes and was very poorly. All the staff were very professional and I was kept upto date with the situation very well. At discharge, the nurse spent time talking us through everything and teaching us how to administer injections. I cannot thank all the staff enough for the care they gave to Woody. He is now in a much better place than when he was admitted. Here he is with his sister keeping an eye on his progress 🐾🐾

Our gorgeous girl Pacha was horrendously attacked by another dog last Sunday and was at pet medics for 4 nights - which included a operation and 24 hour care , I cannot thank pet medics enough and I am so happy we went here as I had constant reassurance, the clinic was very clean, the staff loved her and everyone was so informative to all the questions I had. Special thankyou to Ruth & Ben the brilliant vets, Chloe on reception who I spoke to most of the time and always reassured me & Andrew most of all who made me feel so at ease and performed her surgery! I am so great full for you all, Jenna, Jack & baby Pacha 💗

My sausage dog has been here twice, once with a sprained paw & sadly being run over on Christmas Day night. When we arrived on Christmas Day night, we ran in with our dog & the vet seen him straight away. Couldn’t of asked for a nicer vet & the reception staff. The reception staff were amazing and made us feel so much better. One reception lady even got the first aid kit to help my brother with his cut hands after the accident. Thanks to Pet Medics my dog was fine and sent him home with medication which he is now better. Thank you for amazing service from the vet & lovely reception lady’s on Christmas Day Night 💕 it was the last thing we expected but they made us feel so much better. 🙏✨

PetMedics have been amazing ever since our cat had been referred for her skin issues and allergies. The staff are so lovely and really do care. Pixie is now on allergy medication but is still under review for steroids but her skin and her quality of life has improved so much already and we have her lovely vet Silvana to thank for this.🩷 You are amazing thanks for all your hard work x

Amazing work these people do. I would have been lost without the rspca at times!! My first cat had to be taken here. Cj when I went into hospital... Am not able to look after her am so sorry. Thay are putting her up for adoption, I could of got her back but am not able to look after cj. She can play out 🐱😁 when she gets a new home and thay have given her her first needles. Thank you.
