We asked a few roofers to quote to redo a flat roof, some gable wall cementing and some flashing. I am pleased that we chose Carl and his team at Surrey Roofing Specialists. When Carl was assessing the problem, he suggested various alternatives rather than selecting the most expensive. He was very amenable and reactive and hence I decided to give the contract to him. Carl and team were extremely professional and just so easy to deal with - it makes such a difference when you trade with such teams. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Work was finished on time, to a high standard, clean and with very minimal disruption. I then asked for Carl and team to look at the bay window roofs, and he was back the next couple of days to complete them. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to friends.

Carl is courteous and professional. His men turned up, did the job fast and left no mess. There was an issue after with my hatch not shutting, which one of his men kindly tried to address even though not a carpenter. Alas not successful. Carl was totally accountable and professional, sending a proper carpenter to sort asap. All good! I highly recommend him, and star his service 10/10 as a result of this.

Carl and team were polite, gracious, helpful and determined to fix our leak. Carl in particular was generous and tenacious in his endeavours to resolve a problem which was not as simple as it first seemed. He did this within the original quote provided to us, for which we were extremely grateful. If you're looking for roof repairs from an honest tradesman, Carl is your man!

We were a bit anxious about the entire procedure because this was the first time we had replaced our roof. Joe and the friendly team did a fantastic job on various aspects of our roof (gutters and tiles etc), and for a reasonable price. When they discovered extras that probably needed doing, they showed us in detail and didn't try to push us or con us; often sticking to their original quote, despite additional work or more difficult work emerging. Would highly recommend them, and overall they did a terrific job, at a reasonable cost.

Joe and his team, carried out a few alterations to an existing roof to accommodate new flue pipe for a boiler I was installing, and replaced a few broken tiles for the customer, very professional work very neat and tidy, also a very presentable outfit. overall extremely happy with their work and will definitely use again and would 100% recommend to anyone for whatever roofing jobs needed. 5 star

Thomas Collins was absolutely top class. Speedy, high quality work, polite, personable, but even more importantly immensely proactive especially at letting me know where things had gotten to, progress, explaining stuff so my wife and I were never in the dark about work. He identified what we needed done on our roof fast, was good humoured in getting this done and generally an all round pleasure to have about - let alone the fact he did a top class job on my roof- have recommended him to my sister!

I really cannot recommend Dean and the team highly enough. Dean originally came to give us a quote to install Velux windows in a bedroom and the kitchen. These were installed quickly and efficiently and the rooms were left clean and clear at the end of the day. Over and above the original work, Dean also sorted out a condensation issue in the kitchen and fixed a leaking flat roof! The workmanship was excellent, done to time and with a reasonable budget. Dean is clearly very knowledgeable in this area. He kept us informed all the way through about the issues and what he could do to help the situation and gave us options. Dean and the team worked tirelessly throughout. Overall, we are very pleased to have found a roofer we can really trust!

Great care and attention were given to this project from start to finish. Replacing the non-standard skylights presented several challenges. Dean consistently opted for a higher quality, perfectionist approach rather than taking easier shortcuts. He and his team clearly have extensive experience with various roof constructions and are adept in both interior and exterior work. The result is a set of skylights that are securely fitted and look fantastic. The seamless integration with the original upstands is truly impressive.

We found the service to be prompt, staff friendly & work was very tidy. We had new breathable felt & lead flashing around our chimney, which also came with a 10 year guarantee.

I contacted A List as I had a number of broken slates on the roof of my extension. Speed of response and communication were very good - Dale arranged a visit within a couple of days and provided me with a quote the following morning. After discussion, I opted to replace all of the slates rather than just the badly broken ones as Dale explained the cost would be similar. James then came to carry out the work - he was happy to do this when I wasn't at home, which was a big help as I didn't need to take time off work. I was really happy with the end result, which was very neat and well-matched to my neighbour's adjoining property and in keeping with the character of the house. More importantly, it kept us dry during the prolonged, torrential rain that followed a couple of days later! Dale and James were both friendly and polite and I'd be very happy to use A List again.

Dale is really a great guy and his work is of excellent quality. We felt like we could trust him from the very first minute when we met him.
