I have an old Edwardian house with a slate roof that had not been touched in over 120 years. I was very lucky to find D &S Elliott to replace it in natural slate. Dane is very knowledgeable and gave me very helpful advice. I also found his team to be very efficient and polite. All my soffits, gables, gutters and down-pipes were also replaced. They always tidied up at the end of each day and have done a fantastic job which looks great and will last for many years. I am very happy to recommend them.

Martin and Jack came around to quote for a new roof. We had a few of quotes from different companies but Martin and Jack stood head and shoulders above their competition. All this was done while honouring the price quoted, which was fair and slightly reduced to maintain competitiveness with the prior mentioned quotes received. Martin, and the team recently completely reroofed our entire house. This was necessary due to loft insulation foam putting a pause on our house sale. We were tight for time (seeking to keep our buyers interested) and so took the recommendation of using Surrey Roofs from a friend. The turnaround time and understanding Martin and team showed was fantastic and we were really pleased with the way the whole job was managed. The foam was bonded directly to the inside of the tiles so was not going to be possible to simply remove from the existing tiles. Video and photo updates that Martin was happy to share helped demonstrate this and exactly how well the job was progressing. Can highly recommend Surrey Roofs. Martin and his team retiled a large roof for us which also included 5 small flat roofs, addition of insulation, 2 veluxs, a sun tunnel and replacement of guttering. All were hard working, professional and friendly. Martin and Jack worked with us to ensure that the final result was in character with the style of the house.

Ben repaired a leaking roof for us. He pinpointed the problem immediately, and completed the work quickly. He was professional and very personable, and kept us informed throughout. We would use him again, and have recommended him to our neighbours.

I’ve had a persistent leak beside a dormer window which I have tried unsuccessfully to have repaired by other roofers. I found Ben on the Trading Standards website and he undertook a number of improvements to guttering, redirecting how rain drains away and replacing several areas of roof felting that had deteriorated and had been punctured. I cannot recommend Ben strongly enough, extremely personable, reliable and really knows his stuff. Ben fixed our leaking flat roof that was “repaired” by cowboy traders in October 2023. It was great to see how a professional job should be done! No payment taken until job was completed and kept us informed throughout and explained how the system he uses works.
