I called Yousef after a large leak in the roof following torrential rain. He was out the next day looking at it and by day three he had started work. I used GWS to do a completely new roof on my house in summer 2024. They were extremely professional throughout the process, from the initial estimate (unlike other estimates I got, they actually measured the roof dimensions) through to the scaffolding, build and completion. When a couple of unexpected minor issues appeared with the roof when the tiles came off, each additional piece of work e.g. fixing a dodgy coping stone, were photographed, documented and estimated for clinet approval. At the end of the project there was a quality assurance walkthrough and there were no surprises on the invoice. I would use GWS again in a heartbeat.

I had the GWS team undertake a roofing project on my house in the spring of 2024. I had a lot of damp coming into the house from the roof above as well as from rotting window frames/door going onto my roof terrace. The work involved multiple different trades to be coordinated to carry out the works from scaffolders, windows team, painters, carpenters and roof leading experts. I had an excellent first meeting with Joe to discuss the damp issues that needed fixing and he helped explain how his team would carry out works to fix the issues. He then organised for a detailed plan of works and costs. Once the works got started I was kept up to date by Gary who did a great job at keeping me informed of progress and any potential issues. The team on site were always very professional and able to answer questions that I had about the works. The works were done within the time frame we had discussed and to very high standards. Overall I am really happy with the work that GWS have done at my house and would definitely recommend them to others needing roofing works done.

We needed the entire roof of our house replaced. GWS offered a fair quote and honoured it. They were always on time, straight forward and pleasant to deal with. They did a great job replacing rotten wood beams, and supplying and fitting natural slate and lead to the roof. I am very happy with the end result

I manage our own apartment block and our flat roof was in very bad repair and leaking into several of the flats. It needed replacing. I got several varied quotes for replacement and as costs were pretty high I recruited a chartered surveyor to oversee the quotes and recommend. Best thing I ever did. When I told the contractors there would be a surveyor involved, they disappeared. The surveyor then recommended GWS Roofing as they had dealt with them before. One thing of importance was they would guarantee the roof works for 20 years. They did a full analysis on the roof and recommended Langley Roof technology and they are approved fitters of this roofing product. The job took just over 2 months. They did an amazing job for me. There were weekly inspections by the surveyor and the roof suppliers with reports to me on progress. They were on site every morning and on time and worked every day until the job was complete. I could not fault their effort and enthusiasm throughout the construction. They invited me to observe the roof at regular intervals to see the progress. I was delighted with the result. I could not recommend them high enough. I have my guarantee too and that is something that not all roofing contractors will supply. Brilliant Job and company to deal with! Replacing a roof was made painless by the London Roofing Specialist team. I had been dreading it and met with a number of companies before finally going ahead with LRS. The process was seamless from the erection of the scaffolding, removal and replacement of the flat roof, the installation of a Velux skylight, coping stones on the parapet walls and a new deep flow guttering system. All was done well within the 10 day period, they were professional, punctual starting at 8am each day, hard working, well mannered which came as a surprise 😂 and they left the site clean. Last but not least there were no hidden extras when I received their final invoice .. to be highly recommended 🤩

recently used London Rood Specialists to replace our office roof in Central London. They did a fantastic job that went extremely smoothly considering they were working on a 4 story building near Regent's St. They all worked extremely hard to get the job done in good time. In Feb 2024, Kinson & Birch carried out works to rectify a leak. 7 months later, a leak recurred in the same area. K&B investigated and advised replacing entire flat roof (which had leaked on & off in different locations over the years), offering a £500 discount for Feb works. Slight delay starting repair due to weather, but Tom has now just completed our roof replacement within time promised. K&B is responsive to queries and seem very professional and trustworthy. Would recommend and would use again.

Kinson & Birch refurbished the existing felt roof of my garage and outbuilding. It was coated it with Desmopol products including a final top coat. I am very pleased with the work and in all my discussions with them. The team on site were very helpful in explaining what they were doing at each stage. They were clean, tidy and professional. Kinson and Birch did a great job redoing our extension flat roof which had been done very badly by our builders. Really nice people and efficiently done – also great value compared to other quotes. When, 2 years later, a small hole appeared where the desmoflex had come away from the downpipe, they sent a man over within a day to fix it and then sent a decorator over at their expense to touch up inside. I’ve used a lot of builders & tradesmen in the past and had lots of “guarantees”. These guys are different. I really couldn’t recommend their services more highly.
