I highly recommend Love to Learn. Two of my children are receiving maths tuition once a week and have just completed the first term. The goal was for our children to start senior school with as much confidence as possible with their maths skills so they never felt behind others making this transition in their schooling. Howard carried out a rigorous initial assessment to ascertain their starting points, from which the excellent tutor (Grazia) planned a programme to support them specifically at their level. I'm very pleased that after their first session both our children said it was very worthwhile and enjoyable - I didn't anticipate this so was thrilled it was the case. Our children quickly developed their skills and confidence and as a result, achieved very well in their two first term assessments. This was a good confidence boost and has placed them in a good maths set. The tutoring is helpful, supportive, but also challenging which is essential for the children to achieve rapid progress. Love to Learn comes highly recommended.

Our Son originally started a year ago (yr 3) to assist with his handwriting but he also has an appetite for learning, especially maths. He went from 'needing improvement' with his handwriting to becoming first in his class to receive a pen licence :-). He still attends weekly as he enjoys coming here and its a great way to stay on top of his learning getting that one on one time that schools just simply cannot provide. I contacted Anne around 6 months before the GCSE exams. Anne gladly accommodated my twin daughters together in one session and nearer to exam time, at our request, individually. Both my girls lacked confidence in Maths and needed a boost to help improve their borderline grades. Anne worked solidly with the girls each session, and they quickly enjoyed attending, working on specific areas of difficulties and then past exam papers. Never once did my girls complain about their lessons with Anne which was such an improvement on their views about school lessons. They found her supportive, engaging and above all humorous! My son due to been bilingual as English is not his first Language ,and being out of school at reception and half year 1 due to pandemic, and being identified with language disorder and luck of communication,starting at I love to Learn ,was one of the best decisions I have made for him( delayed though) as Since he started ,he liked been there and he had a very big progress during a short period of time. My son had his dyslexia assessment with Kirsty and I could not recommend her enough. She put him at ease and made him feel really comfortable through the assessment and explained things to him so he would understand. The report provided after the assessment was extremely thorough and Kirsty spent the time to walk me through it, highlighting key aspects. This really helped me understand how his brain works and the challenges he was facing, which allowed me to have really productive conversations with my sons school regarding accommodations. The report provided the school with everything they needed. My dealings with other members of the New Forest Dyslexia team were also 5 start. Communication was great through out the whole process.

Can’t thank Sumit and Aarzoo enough for the help and support they gave my son in preparation for his GCSEs last year, which undoubtedly helped him achieve a whole two grades above his expected grade in his final exams for Maths. Aarzoo helped him to understand the more tricky areas in a relatable way he could understand and therefore gave him the confidence when sitting his exams. Great communication, flexible and professional but in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Genuinely had my sons best interests at heart and would highly recommend.

Aarzoo, is an great tutor and has been able to compact down GCSE maths (resist) topics too make them more understandable which has helped in my maths revision . She has also helped how I approach the exam and has given me more confidence in a short amount of time since I have only had tutoring for less than 2 months.

Aarzoo is an excellent Maths tutor, and has tutored all three of my children. My daughter has enjoyed her experience overall and her confidence in maths has improved. Can’t rate the team enough. Jess and Alicia are fantastic with my child and have brought together a fabulous support team in their tutors. My child has found both in centre and online to be really enjoyable, and she actually wants to do it. It’s really boosted her confidence in the areas she struggled with as well as encouraging her to push herself in areas she has already mastered.

My son has been attending the GCSE maths drop in sessions since the beginning of year 11. I only wish he had started in year 10! We added an extra 1 to 1 session in the run up to the GCSEs for an extra boost. Issac and Sean are fantastic teachers. My son has improved so much. Both Issac and Sean explain things in a way that he understands and at his pace. 100% recommend.

My son has had a well-structured home learning experience thanks to Allison and her colleagues. They provided a tailored education and kept my son interested in his studies. Allison and the other tutors are very pleasant and genuinely care about their students. They focused entirely on each child’s individual needs, ensuring they received the right support to thrive. My daughter struggled with spelling, and we attended these lessons for the past three years. My daughter always felt encouraged and looked forward to every session. We’ve now stopped as she has caught up with her peers, thanks to the incredible progress she made in these classes. It was sad to leave, but I feel like the project has been successfully completed.

Our daughter Ellie moved to a 6th form college to study A level Biology where she was left to “self learn” complicated topics without support. We approached Wessex Tutors having been referred to them by a friend and we were matched with Helen. Helen is a hugely experienced Biology teacher, familiar with our daughter’s exam board and was therefore in a perfect position to fill in the gaps, she provided amazing support and much needed encouragement. I highly recommend Wessex Tutors & Exam Center, and the Geography tutor Mrs. Gardiner and Maths Tutor Mr. Barber. The head of College Mrs. White and later Chris, are highly professional and very helpful in providing recommendations and suggestions in overall A level exams and preparations. The tutors ( Mrs. Gardiner and Mr. Barber) they matched with my son are of high quality, very patient and good at the subject. Mrs. Gardiner is such a nice, thoughtful and friendly tutor, which made the tuition a very enjoyable experience for my son. 1 year ago my daughter was so far behind in her maths and english i thought i needed a miracle after help at her school was turned down i didnt no where to turn until i found kip on the internet. I didnt no what to expect so was very surprised to find my daughter loved it and for a very shy person that was amazing i knew then i had done the right thing. she has been attended kip since july 2012 and it has been the best thing i ever did she has gone from a very unsure, and shy person to someone who cant wait till her next lesson she has improved so much way above my expectations and will continue to go here for a very long time. She really could not have done it without all the help and support they offered.

Jan has been absolutely fantastic and finally my daughter at nearly 13 years old has been diagnosed with dyslexia and dyscalculia. Jan worked with my daughter for 4 hours over two days and conducted the relevant testing. Jan explained everything thoroughly and clearly and both myself and my daughter were at ease the whole time. We have been lucky to find Jan and I am so happy that now we have answers. Without the help from Jan my daughter would not be diagnosed as unfortunately the schools don’t seem to do this so well.
