My son has been attending Kip for a couple of years to improve his maths. Michael and Kate run an excellent team and are extremely approachable and understanding. My son’s tutor, Susanna, was so patient and encouraging that it helped my son pass his SATs and gave him more confidence for starting high school. I highly recommend.

We enrolled our son with Kip McGrath during the early stages of lockdown, when we realised just how badly he struggled with Maths and he had a weekly lesson since, taking him up to his GCSE's. Whilst it is clear that Maths really isn't my sons thing, with the help of Mike and all the other wonderful tutors, we are much more hopeful that he will attain the minimum he needs to get onto his college course. With both online and in-centre lessons available, Kip is open to all, with friendly, patient and helpful tutors, my son has definitely improved in his Maths and without these extra lessons I really do feel he wouldn't have stood a chance of passing Maths. Great comms with parents, if ever I needed to alter a lesson time or switch to an online lesson the centre were always accommodating, homework set via the online portal - I would definitely recommend Kip Mcgrath.

My son Ethan has been going here for years every Saturday morning by choice. Initially for Maths, then English as well. He’s done really well in his GCSEs! I highly recommend Kate and the team and have done so to other parents.

Following a period of prolonged illness, we found our daughter was struggling maths. We chose lessons at KIP as we knew and respected the owner from her previous role as a local primary school teacher. Our daughter has throughly enjoyed her time at KIP. She has grown in confidence and far exceeded her expected results in GCSE maths. The staff are all kind and supportive and quickly established what type of learner she was and how best to engage her. Our son has attended KIP McGrath in Broughton at different points over the last 5 years. He was tutored in English and our main concern was his confidence. He struggles to finish exams and this was turning him off any subject that involved reading or writing. He's had different tutors and taken lessons online and in the centre. All the tutors boosted his confidence and worked with him to show him how to maximise his time. KIP were flexible when he had a lot of school work, making sure any homework was in line with what he was learning at school. On the odd occasion we needed to change a session, KIP were happy to accommodate. In May, he sat his GCSE and although he didn't complete the paper, he did achieve a very good pass in both literature and language. I can't thank KIP enough. He's avoided a re-sit, but more importantly he enjoys reading and is still confident to write. I don't think he would feel this way without the encouragement of the Kate, Louise and the rest of the team. Thank you again!
