Having struggled with tricky maths topics I decided it was time to get some private tuition. I wanted to pass my gcse maths so desperately - so I could go on to do my pgce. Therefore, I set out looking for the best tutor possible. I didn't have to search very far as I already followed Mr Mahmud on instagram. Thankfully, he agreed to tutor me! My worst fear was Algebra, but he helped me overcome this with his phenomenal teaching. I sat the gcse maths exam in November 2020 and received my results on 14th January 2021 - I passed! In a short span of time he was able to help prepare me for my exam. Honestly, I can not recommend him enough! He is simply amazing, and goes out of his way to ensure he leaves no stone unturned when it comes to your learning - you won't regret it.

We were put in touch with Helen who from the outset was incredibly warm and encouraging and she kind of just demystified the subject for him! Due to timing, the whole of Amanda's lessons have been remote however this has not stopped my daughter and Amanda building a fantastic relationship. Accommodating staff. My son has been attending both English and Mathematics Kumon, and the progress he's made is impressive. The structured and incremental learning approach has really helped him build confidence and solidify his foundational skills. The Kumon worksheets are well-designed to foster independent learning, which has also instilled a sense of discipline and responsibility in him. The instructors (especially Samar) are patient and supportive, always providing guidance when needed. Overall, I highly recommend Kumon for parents looking to strengthen their child's academic abilities!

My son has been attending Kumon maths classes with Samar since July 2021 and has grown in confidence with his maths with the excellent support from Samar. It hasn't always been easy getting him to do Kumon at home but Samar has always been at the of the phone or a conversation to advise on what to do. Moving from my old tutor to HC Tutoring was very beneficial. My old tutor didn't seem to care about my learning, which made me lose motivation and struggle with my subjects.
