From the very first trial session with Celia, my son loved his time with NumberWorksnWords and always looked forward to going. Initially, we enrolled for both maths and English to help him gain confidence with his learning whilst continuing to challenge him. After a few months he felt more confident in himself and wanted to sit the 11+ exams. Celia and her team make learning fun in a relaxed environment. We especially loved seeing and hearing about his progress regularly. My son is now in Yr6 and will be starting his secondary life in a local grammar school!

Celia is a brilliant teacher with lots of experience but first and foremost, she genuinely cares about her students. The rest of the stuff is also very patient, welcoming and supporting. Both my girls were happy to go and made a huge progress in school. Thank you very much for all your support.

My daughter loves her weekly maths session with Celia and it is great to see how much her confidence in maths has grown in a short period of time. I never thought that doing extra maths each week would become one of her favourite activities, but it has! Thanks to Celia and the team for making it such a fun and rewarding experience for her.

When my daughter joined she had missed a lot of school and was naturally very behind, Celia and her staff made her feel so welcome and she really enjoyed attending each week - as a result she is now at the national standard for phonics and is coming along leaps and bounds! My daughter came to NumberWorks Surbiton saying she hated maths, because she found maths very difficult to follow at school and thought she couldn't do it. However two terms in and she loves NumberWorks so much that she's asked me if she can carry on attending next year, even if I don't think she needs to! At NumberWorks she has been able to work at her own pace, with help, support and encouragement whenever she needs it, and consequently both her understanding and her confidence have grown significantly. Celia is great at making sure what she's working on stretches her just the right amount so she is learning and progressing but it also feels manageable for her - she always comes out with a smile on her face and feeling proud of herself.
