Silvana was an exceptional tutor for my son for his secondary school entrance exams. She was enthusiastic and passionate and really developed a love of English in him. She taught him to write exciting pieces in a range of styles and enhanced his creativity. He also learnt how to approach comprehension exercises across domains. Our primary focus was keeping the love of learning regardless of 11+ outcomes but the outcome also ended up outstanding - in all three schools he sat. Certain rankings from Latymer and Dame Alice Owens (top 3% in each) and a score that has always got an offer in previous years at QE boys (they don't give rankings).
