My two girls aged 7 & 14 have been attending for the past 4 months and since the day we walked in I have felt supported by the entire Team in them understanding the educational needs of them both. I have used the service of Keystone Tutor preparing for 11 plus exam, for a period of roughly six months. Process of onboarding was really efficient and swift, tutoring of great quality. We have been helped to match to our needs with the perfect tutor - Donal Coonan. The key feature of the tutor was the very engaging tone that kept my ten-year-old boy really interested in the session. My son was tutored by Omar Gonga, a Maths graduate from Imperial, for his entrance exam into a private school. Omar was very calm, considerate and caring when it came to dealing with my son. He was engaging and dealt with difficult concepts patiently. When my son became bored or irate, he patiently guided him to do his best. Think Tutors has been an absolutely invaluable asset to to my A-levels over the past two years. I have been tutored by James Mitchell in Geography, which has been nothing short of a pleasure week in week out due to his wide range of subject knowledge and very engaging and interesting teaching method. With the help of James I was able to achieve an A grade as my final grade, as well as an A* grade in my coursework (something which was not actually taken into official consideration in the final grade due to the COVID 19 outbreak thus changing the way grades were awarded). The matched tutors for Sociology and Geography A level were outstanding. I have consistently used Uber Tutors for my child since year 5, elevating their potential at different stages of their State and Comprehensive schooling. Uber Tutors coached my child through their dyslexia diagnosis, immediately understanding their needs and instilling confidence. I looked for an essay writing summer tutor for my children as I feel the English system does not focus on teaching children how to present analytical thinking in written form but rather mainly on content. It seems to be assumed that the children will find their way to writing good essays (and clearly many do). However, coming from the American system, in which the process of HOW to write a good essay is taught almost as a standalone subject, I felt that my children would be best served going into a writing task with the strongest possible toolset so that the ideas and ultimately what to write would become their only challenge. How to write would be second nature. I contacted Tania at Uber Tutors after a lot of research and, via her incredibly personalised interview approach, she matched a fantastic tutor with my children. Over the course of the summer, they learned how to structure, present and write an argument. They also learned how to incorporate evidence, be it literary, historical or data driven. Not only do they now approach every school essay confidently (dare I say enthusiastically?) but their teachers have mentioned their writing skills to me across the curriculum. I completed the Essay Crash Course during the summer before my final year at university. I hugely benefited from the process as I learned skills to finally understand what a university essay demands in order to achieve a first. This course closed the huge gap in teaching how to write a university level essay. I now feel equipped to complete my final year and hope to increase my marks from a 2:1 to a first as a result of the valuable tools learned during the course. My matched tutor was really helpful and gave in-depth explanations to give me confidence in the new method of writing, something I did not learn at university. During the course I worked on an example question from one of my university papers with my tutor which was a hugely valuable exercise. I now have a worked example alongside the explanations given during the sessions which I will use throughout my final year. I will now implement what I have learned from this course and make significant changes to my work which I hope will be the difference between a 2:1 and first class degree.

Uber tutors helped my son to improve from year 8 level(when he was at year 10) to year 11 within one year. They have a very good system that starts by assessing the the level of the child and then recommended the lessons required. However it doesn't end there. They also consider the child's personality and meticulously find the best tutor who would mach with the child. Prior to Uber tutors we tried a few other companies but none had a proper system in place. The tutors are very knowledgeable and helpful. There's clear and effective communication between the teacher and parents and a detailed feedback provided at the end of each and every lesson. Great support. The shepherd bush kumon centre Vanita and all the team are so great and very supportive. Really gave my daughter 8 years old and my son 6 years old the confidence they need in English and Maths. My daughter use to stress and cry for the maths worksheets but now she is very confident and now have fantastic skills. When I started 8 years ago at the Shepherd's Bush Kumon I only enrolled one of my children. Due to the progress that my child made after starting at Kumon, I eventually let all my children go there. They were learning a lot of Maths and English at a fast pace while also understanding the work. They have developed good learning skills, confidence in their work and now they are working more independently while also practicing time management since they know that they have to do there work on time. Working with Shepherds bush Kumon management and all staff is a good result in your kids as it helped my children improve significantly in both English and Maths and I would recommend it to all parents who want to help their children learn.
