Tutor House has worked with my daughter over the past three years now; supporting her with one-to-one tuition for her A level French as well as assisting her throughout her UCAS process. They have provided expert insight on careers advice and university applications process. Their friendly team has been extremely helpful (often responding to queries immediately), and working to identify and assist with my daughter's exact needs. With all the confusion around A-Levels and university admissions this year, they've provided calm and clear guidance throughout! I can not recommend Tutor House enough - Well Done!

They have very clearly invested a lot of time and money into building an unrivalled platform for all parties. Their integrated platform is a strong value add for clients and tutors alike, with no need for either party to use Zoom or Skype or any of the other apps to connect. They have detailed reviews of tutors with real client feedback to I've you the best assessment of whether a tutor is actually able to help you. Their tutors' experience is impressive and they've retained a lot of talent despite tutoring being a short-term or stopgap role for many people. For tutors, they allow you to set your own rate (although you sometimes feel like they're encouraging you to reduce this despite the initial sense of being able to determine pricing yourself). I think they slightly undersell themselves and could probably increase fees a bit (I've worked with them for a few years). Some fo their clients could certainly afford to pay a bit more, however some clients struggle with the platform and the agency could certainly put more effort into explaining how to use it (especially for newbies). The team are generally very responsive but there has been occasion where pay wasn't fully pursued as it could have been, and card issues are not uncommon because of the nature of billing (usually post sessions, which could encourage some bad apples to try to make off without paying). The team could be a bit better at responding to tutors and should tell people if certain team members are leaving since tutors may only know one person at the agency. The team are quick to get in touch if there's negative feedback or for their concerns about charge-out rates, but it can feel like a very one-way street with tutor enquiries often getting ignored despite the advertised extensive support and integrated online enquiry form. Overall, they are fantastic, but slightly undersell themselves an should look to increase their highest fees in the current financial year due to inflation eroding the premium they used to pay compared to other agencies.

I work with Tutor House as a business and economics tutor. They are one of the best tutoring companies which I have come across. The team look after both tutors and students very well, offering as much support as is needed. The courses which Tutor House offer are excellent and the other tutors are also brilliant. Students can work in groups or one-to-one with tutors, and have the opportunity to make so much progress. I have always had fantastic results with my students at Tutor House. During the uncertainty of coronavirus, Mya and Alex have gone above and beyond to support everyone to ensure we can still provide a good education to our students. They are ready to answer any question that might come up and have really worked hard to make the experience as stress-free as possible for both tutors and students. From a tutor’s perspective, Tutor House pays fair rates, always pays invoices quickly and on time and offers so much support with lesson planning, assessments and reports.
