Amazing and very professional Maths tutor! My daughter is very happy and she enjoys her lessons with Richard. We have seen some improvements already only after few week!

We are very happy with the tuition our daughter got from Richard last year. His lessons are tailored to every child's need; increasing in difficulty as the child progresses. Richard will spend extra time with a particular child if he/she needs extra help. Towards the end, the homework our daughter would get from Richard got harder, therefore our daughter found grammar school test not as hard and passed it easily. When our other daughter and son are old enough, we would happily send them to Richard for extra tuition. Linda and Alfred.

Alison at Jurassic Coast Tutoring was just brilliant. It was a last minute request for tutoring only 10 weeks before her exams and Alison managed to fit my daughter in at a suitable time. Alison made my daughter feel at ease, checked in on her prior to each lesson, provided suitable and relevant materials for her to practice throughout the week (as requested by me!) and my Daughter passed! We approached Jurassic Coast Tutors for extra support as my daughter approached GCSE’s focussing on English Language. We were matched with Tracy who was able to provide 1:1 support, in our home. I cannot thank Jane enough for all the help with maths she has given my daughter over quite a few years now . Jane is the only person who has the ability to make maths understandable, particularly for those children who struggle to make any sense of it . My youngest daughter has also started to see Jane for 11+ , already it has helped her with school work. I would not hesitate to recommend Jane .

Jane has tutored 2 of my children for the 11+ grammar school exams and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Both of my children lacked confidence in their ability and Jane made the lessons fun and something they both looked forward to. When it came to the exams both children were excited to be able to show what they could achieve - she taught them how to cope with the pressure, exam techniques as well as helping to strengthen their ability in math and english - both sailed through the 11+ and have continued to do well after such a fantastic grounding. I have already signed Jane up to help my youngest child when the time arrives. Jane is honest, incredibly diligent and genuinely cares deeply for the children she works with.

Jane has been tutoring my son and helping him with his maths and he has already made great progress in his learning in a short time. Poppy has been working with my daughter who is ‘educated other than at school’ for 2 years now. Poppy makes lessons fun and engaging but also takes the time to really understand her students as individual learners. I went to this school, 19,80 , it was for boys with learning difficulties, and run by fryers, it was a lovely place to grow up, and I still have a place in my heart for the place.

The tuition my daughter received was professional, and well planned. The tutor was friendly and approachable. My daughter was coached though practice exams and given tips to help her. Thanks to the Tutor Agency she achieved GCSE grade 8 in both English Language and Geography.

I can’t recommend Matt more highly. We signed up for maths tutoring with Matt fairly late in the year, with only about 6 weeks until the exams were to begin; mainly because our son was really struggling with confidence about his maths. The pressure to pass was making revision seem totally overwhelming. Matt was such a fantastic tutor. Not only did he help to make sense of the areas of maths which were a struggle, but he also subtly coached our son to have a positive mindset. Having been hugely reluctant to begin his tutoring, he very quickly looked forward to the sessions and came away like a different person - much less stressed, and confident to tackle his exams. My daughter has just finished her GCSE exams. She had maths tuition with Matt from February to the final paper last week. My child was 2 years behind in maths at school. We had never heard of Kumon but an educational psychologist recommended trying it. Since starting we have not looked back. Just over 1 year later school have noticed a huge improvement and now mark my child as working at the level in maths. Our child’s confidence has improved as a result. The Kumon system works by doing a small amount everyday and gradually builds incrementally upon the maths skills they are secure in. We need to support our child with the books but becomes part of routine about 20 - 30 minutes each day. The twice a week lessons keep us on track and we can ask for help if we are getting stuck on anything at these. The tutors are great and take the time to explain to us how they teach concepts so we give the same messaging at home. The lessons and course continue over the holidays which has really helped our child to catch up. We are so pleased we have now started the English tutoring in addition. This is supporting our child being secure in fundamentals of English. Thank you we are so lucky to have found you !
