Jerome recently helped my son with studying for the 11+ exam. My son loved the sessions, he thought Jerome explained thing's clearly, and looked forward to the sessions. He picked up a lot techniques and tips which all contributed to him passing the grammar school test comfortably. We are very happy with the service, and found Jerome to be a patient, helpful, and knowledgeable tutor and will definitely use him in the future when needed.

Jerome tutored my daughter for just over a year for her maths GCSE and I can’t thank him enough for the encouragement and confidence he gave her. My husband and I have used Jerome for a number of years, first when our daughter was in middle school for assistance with maths. Our daughter was achieving well in all other subjects but Jerome’s tutoring not only placed her in top sets, but we saw a complete change in her mood and confidence. She no longer dreaded days where she had maths lessons and Jerome assisted in her transfer to senior school where she would often return so happy that, “ she knew what the teacher was talking about before they taught the lesson." Jerome is patient and adjusts according to ability. I had never heard of 11 plus before speaking to a very friendly gentleman named Peter. My son gets extremely anxious around change and wanted to sit the 11 plus but was late to the party. He ended up doing the mock exams and intense workshops during the summer. He sat the 11 plus and achieved a high enough score to apply for both schools. Now I can honestly say he would not have even completed the exam had it not been for Pete and Franny. They didn’t just put me at ease but more importantly my son felt comfortable and at ease. I thought it was going to be hard to get him to go and learn in the summer but he enjoyed it and the way it was all taught. I cannot thank Jane enough for all the help with maths she has given my daughter over quite a few years now . Jane is the only person who has the ability to make maths understandable, particularly for those children who struggle to make any sense of it . Jane has tutored 2 of my children for the 11+ grammar school exams and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Both of my children lacked confidence in their ability and Jane made the lessons fun and something they both looked forward to. When it came to the exams both children were excited to be able to show what they could achieve - she taught them how to cope with the pressure, exam techniques as well as helping to strengthen their ability in math and english - both sailed through the 11+ and have continued to do well after such a fantastic grounding. What can I say, what an amazing group. I was lucky to have Alison teach me on one hour sessions on the past 3/4 months. Alison at Jurassic Coast Tutoring was just brilliant. It was a last minute request for tutoring only 10 weeks before her exams and Alison managed to fit my daughter in at a suitable time. My 16 year old had missed 6 months of year 10 and was struggling in the run up to his GCSE's, with no extra support available. We engaged Alison (Maths) and Tracy (English Literature) at a very late stage for online tutoring, following a recommendation by a friend. They were both excellent and my son engaged really well with his weekly sessions. He was able to catch up on topics that he had missed and his confidence increased no end. I contacted Anne around 6 months before the GCSE exams. Anne gladly accommodated my twin daughters together in one session and nearer to exam time, at our request, individually. Both my girls lacked confidence in Maths and needed a boost to help improve their borderline grades. Anne worked solidly with the girls each session, and they quickly enjoyed attending, working on specific areas of difficulties and then past exam papers. Never once did my girls complain about their lessons with Anne which was such an improvement on their views about school lessons. They found her supportive, engaging and above all humorous! We are very happy with the tuition our daughter got from Richard last year. His lessons are tailored to every child's need; increasing in difficulty as the child progresses. Richard will spend extra time with a particular child if he/she needs extra help. Towards the end, the homework our daughter would get from Richard got harder, therefore our daughter found grammar school test not as hard and passed it easily. Marta is a truly wonderful tutor for children of all abilities. My son is profoundly dyslexic and was struggling with numeracy. Marta has helped him to realise that maths can be fun and numbers are nothing to be afraid of. She has a unique way of teaching to a child's specific needs which enables them to engage and enjoy the subject. With her wealth of knowledge of the education system she has been a great support in helping us get our son the help he so badly needs.

Can’t recommend Marta highly enough! She was extremely helpful and understanding when our daughter needed to come out of school at the end of year 10 due to physical and emotional difficulties in attending school. She has worked hard with our daughter to find any gaps and weaknesses in her knowledge of the subjects (all 3 sciences and maths), and has built her confidence in her abilities. She is very kind, friendly, supportive and engaging both online and in her office.

Marta has been really beneficial to my son in the past 3 years, we started with Marta when my son was in Year 9, he is now in the midst of his GCSE's and asking me to book extras lessons. He has improved so much that he is now doing the higher level Maths paper. Marta is incredible she is very patience, happy to go over things several time and provide extra lessons. Marta tutors me in maths and science at GCSE level. I have M.E/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and have been ill for over 3 years, this means I am unable to access mainstream education or medical tuition. Marta is brilliant at adapting to my changing health, she is able to teach her lessons in a way that I am able to remember the information. She has many techniques to help me achieve this, for example using coloured pens. She never gets exasperated even when I ask the same question many times, and will continue to explain it until I understand and am able to retain the information. Also she is very understanding even if I can’t always manage the homework due to my poor health. I thoroughly enjoy my sessions and learn a lot. I can’t recommend Marta enough, and she is especially brilliant if you have any extra needs.
