We would highly recommend Smart Homes Electrical. The installation of our solar panels was completed efficiently and quickly, the guys who did the job were a pleasure to have around our home and the internal work was completed with the absolute minimum of disruption. We were very impressed all round!

From first enquiring about solar and our options regarding maximising the power/batteries etc, the team were excellent. There is no pressure at all and they even advised against extra panels as it would not give a benefit, other companies would sell you anything to increase the prices but Smart Homes don't. The work they did was outstanding and very considered in terms of dust generation and mess (hardly any mess at all but they asked if we could move our washing in just in case of any dust). The explanations and walkthrough about the system with the team once installed was again well considered. The communication either via phone or email is fast and they are happy to talk about anything to ensure your happy with your system. The installation team themselves are great, polite, helpful, courteous and friendly. I highly recommend them to anyone looking at getting a solar system.

I cannot commend Smart Homes Electrical highly enough. In September '24 we were entirely new to the photovoltaic world. I sent an exploratory email to Tom Mastin and by return was informed that Will Chamberlain, their sales and support engineer was going to be in contact. We went through the various options with Will's knowledgeable help. Will designed the specifics of our proposed system and Ben, Jack and Tom installed the new system on a steep roof in Matlock over 3 days. The team was superb down to each individual; as a company they do what they state in their literature. They did a great job and the system is already delivering. The Tesla Powerwall 3 (battery and inverter) and the associated app are something to behold. I'm very impressed and recommend Smart Homes Electrical with pleasure and without reservation.

The team worked hard installing our solar /battery system despite the freezing temperatures in December and January. They were a friendly team and customer focussed. We would gladly have them back on site. The system is working well and generating some reasonable kwh so we should meet our proposed savings plan!

We have had a significant amount of building work and required new installation of fuse board, first and second fix to new building, along with rewire and reconfiguration of existing lights, sockets and security features etc. A great deal of planning was required, which Russ assisted with. Russ was punctual, tidy and carried out all works to a very high standard. We would not hesitate to recommend him for any electrical work. He is perhaps one of the friendliest tradesmen we have encountered.

Russ came to our aid on Easter Monday following failure of an installation put in by others 6 years ago, what he found was shocking(no pun intended). Made it safe and got some powe back on for us. Subsequently undertook full repair and test. Very tidy and trustworthy. Would definitely recommend.

Had 10 solar panels with a Tesla Powerwall3 battery fitted by Electric innovations , whole process was seamless from start to finish , was kept upto date on the installastion timings etc , arrived 8.30am and was all done dusted logged in to the app at 3.30pm by Ben and his team , since the work has been completed i have received various follow up emails and conversations to make sure i was happy with the work completed and if i needed any further assistance . I would have absolutely have no hesitation in recommending this company , very professional approachable and local , this is the second job they have done for me after installing my car charger 2 years ago as well. Top work lads !!

A totally professional company. From my initial contact with the company Ainsley sorted out a day and time for the repair of the kitchen extractor unit. Frazier arrived on time he was totally professional and polite unfortunately the kitchen extractor was not repairable. I ordered a new unit and again this was booked to be fitted. Sean arrived on time and fitted the unit he was fantastic professional and very polite. This company is the best in every way. Will definitely recommend this company , first class, and thank you . Fantastic work carried out by Stu, Frazer, Louis and the team. Solar Panels installed, nest thermostat, ring doorbell and a few other bits around the house. I cannot fault the standard of work and the professionalism and mannerism from all the guys was a stand out. Would definitely reccomend and will be using these guys for any future work needed. I had Electrical Innovations out for a house alarm service. House alarm was beyond economical repair. I was given various options, went for the wireless system, provided with a quote and accepted. They turned up when they said they would, performed the job to the highest standard, took old alarm away and all the packaging from the new alarm. I was kept updated with arrival times via text message. Brad the technician cleaned up after himself, no mess was left. We were very impressed with the service provided. Once the alarm was installed, Brad went through everything with me, explained the settings and set up the app on our phones. Fantastic service, you get what you pay for. You won't be disappointed. Had a great service when having my ev charger fitted a few years ago. But for me the quality of a company is shown in their aftercare. While having an issue with my charger i rang up hoping they'd be able to get to me urgently within the coming days… 1 and a half hours later they were knocking at my door! Incredible service. The fault was with the charger and luckily it’s under warranty, so i will not hesitate to use these guys to come and swap it out for the new one.

Great service from Power & Control, from quotation through to install. Daniel was informative and quick to provide a quote when requested. This was also amended with no quibbles when I decided on a Hypervolt charger instead. Dan also arranged an install date very quickly - I only had to wait a couple of weeks from accepting my quote. Andy who installed the charger is a really nice guy. I was very impressed with his attention to detail and high quality workmanship. The Hypervolt looks great and I cannot fault the install - extremely neat! I would highly recommend.

Mr Matthew woodfield P&C:- Power & Control Ltd PV I've upgraded from an existing 6kw battery to a further 6kw battery to give me a total of 12kw storage for my solar Pv system. From start to finish the whole experience was very pleasant. Dan-thanks for being very thorough on what batteries that I needed for my solar system.They say everyday is a school day and I can honestly say it certainly was the things that I picked up on the conversations we had helped. We then have Jake and again he was very helpful nothing was a problem on coming back with the answers. Then we have the electrician (Ryan) the ambassador of the company 'very smartly dressed' contacted me on the way introducing himself and giving me an eta. His ethics and knowledge workmanship was second to none. All in all price comes into everything and PAC was the company who stood out for helpfulness,compasion,enthusiasm, and professionalism.
