I has no power in my downstairs sockets.. Paul & Gavin came to my rescue and found faults on the downstairs sockets, boiler electric and wall lights. Once they had found these they quickly and safely got the electric back on.Very professional and lovely guys. Thank you..Highly recommended.

In Nov 19 Derek fitted a new fuse box for me, rewired my cooker, new outside up and down lights and new down lights internally in my lounge diner & kitchen, with dimmer switches. He planned and actioned everything in between other work I was having done to ensure there was no risk of getting plaster & paint on the new lights, meaning he had to drop in and out a few times. We found Derek to be friendly, efficient, knowledgable, responsive, he explained everything well and the results are great; we'd have no hesitation engaging him again or recommending him to friends.

I've used Derrick twice over the last few years, once for a full rewire on a renovation, then again for a fault in a different property. Derrick is always efficient and reliable, with no job too big or too small. Five out of five stars!!!

We were very happy with Derrick, he did a great job changing our fuse box, installing a CCTV camera and complete revision of the electricity and plugs and wherever he found something which required an attention he just fixed it. Very pleased for the service.

Alex attended our flat tonight about a meter problem. However, he managed to detect a more serious problem that was caused by another engineer which he informed us was dangerous for our safety. I had my electricity supply moved by northern power grid and my meter was moved by British Gas. Due to misadvice between the two of them, I was left with no electricity supply to my fuse box and no electrician booked in. I'd been without power for 30 hours when Alex and the team stepped in to help at short notice. They got me set up temporarily for the night and came back the next day to do a full and permanent job of running the new tails from the meter to the consumer unit. Professional, friendly and helpful at short notice. Highly recommended. Can't thank you enough!

Since last having Michael out I have installed a kitchen. It was an easy decision to invite him back to quote for first and second fix regarding the electrics. The price was where I was expecting it to be and any extras he was happy to discuss during the install. I provided the drawings to Michael and when I came home everything was done to the MM including very tidy channelling in the walls. Nothing was an issue. Second fix went great, he tested the appliances and tested and certified all work. Within 24 hours he has returned all paperwork to me. I look forward to having Michael back for the stairway. We have used the guys from Derbyshire Energy Solutions for all of our projects over the years. They have recently installed LED lighting, fire, TV and surround sound on our Media wall, along with outside security lighting, rerouting cat 5 cables, installing remote heating system & various other jobs. Ken & Tom were bang on time today and did a fantastic job making some alterations to our new build! We had an additional socket fitted in a difficult position, an external light and a Ring hardwired doorbell installed. They left everywhere just as they found it. We're great at cleaning up, making sure to wear shoe socks when walking through the house and kept us updated with all the works along the way, including answering our questions and helping out with issues we may come across in the future. Really happy with the work and would recommend them any day of the week! Wish they'd done the house instead of the homebuilders!

Had a great service when having my ev charger fitted a few years ago. But for me the quality of a company is shown in their aftercare. While having an issue with my charger i rang up hoping they'd be able to get to me urgently within the coming days… 1 and a half hours later they were knocking at my door! Incredible service. The fault was with the charger and luckily it’s under warranty, so i will not hesitate to use these guys to come and swap it out for the new one.

Great experience start to end with P&C, they installed an EV charger for me at short notice after British Gas (via Hive) estimated 6-7 weeks just to complete a pre-install survey, never mind actually doing the install! Called me within a couple of hours of callback request via their website, did a survey via Whatsapp video call within 24 hours of first contact, arranged install for the following week. Install went very smoothly on the day, installer listened to all my requests and quickly proposed the install method best suited to my premises. Very quick and neat job, very happy with the results, would recommend Power and Control to anyone looking for a domestic EV charger install.

Contacted at ~5pm on Sunday evening with description of a shared neutral issue impacting two lights in our house. Definitive Electrical arrived at 9am the following morning (today) and fixed the issue in about 45 minutes. I can't remember the names but they were efficient, polite, friendly and careful with possessions/property. One of the easiest interactions I've had with a contractor from start to finish. A totally professional company. From my initial contact with the company Ainsley sorted out a day and time for the repair of the kitchen extractor unit. Frazier arrived on time he was totally professional and polite unfortunately the kitchen extractor was not repairable. I ordered a new unit and again this was booked to be fitted. I had Electrical Innovations out for a house alarm service. House alarm was beyond economical repair. I was given various options, went for the wireless system, provided with a quote and accepted. They turned up when they said they would, performed the job to the highest standard, took old alarm away and all the packaging from the new alarm. I was kept updated with arrival times via text message. Brad the technician cleaned up after himself, no mess was left. We were very impressed with the service provided. Once the alarm was installed, Brad went through everything with me, explained the settings and set up the app on our phones. Fantastic service, you get what you pay for. You won't be disappointed.
