Contacted at ~5pm on Sunday evening with description of a shared neutral issue impacting two lights in our house. Definitive Electrical arrived at 9am the following morning (today) and fixed the issue in about 45 minutes. I can't remember the names but they were efficient, polite, friendly and careful with possessions/property. One of the easiest interactions I've had with a contractor from start to finish. Excellent electrical installation by the team from DES on our new build house in Ripley. a clean tidy project well communicated and delivered to the usual high standards!

Having recently been flooded we were having trouble getting the insurance company to send out an electrician, so decided to call our own. Leighton from DES came out the next day, was clear about what needed doing and liaised with Western Power for us. When the utility company had fixed their equipment Leighton came out again when he said he would and got our power back on, checked all the circuits and advised us on what we could and couldn’t use. He was great at problem solving, very thorough and professional at all times. I would have no problem recommending DES to anyone.

We have used the guys from Derbyshire Energy Solutions for all of our projects over the years. They have recently installed LED lighting, fire, TV and surround sound on our Media wall, along with outside security lighting, rerouting cat 5 cables, installing remote heating system & various other jobs. I’ve been using Adam Hemsley for around five years since my previous electrician retired and I’ve been very impressed. He sticks to his quotes and you know exactly what you’re paying for. Fast and efficient turnout, no dramas or shocks ( pun intended) There have two occasions when I’ve needed him quick at commercial properties, one being a hairdressers he attended straight away. Very professional and prompt service. Did a great job installing some sockets for us, as well as fitting some spotlights and uldating our fuse box. Minimum mess and they cleaned up after themselves.

Used Adam Hemsley electrical when my elderly father was experiencing an electrical fault in his home whilst I was at work and unable to get there. Adam attended promptly and managed to sort out the electrical fault that had left my father without power, which he depends on as he has multiple health and mobility issues. Adam also provided information on how we can resolve the issue to prevent further outages. Adam is extremely competent and also friendly. He made sure my father was comfortable and safe and made sure I was fully informed about the situation.
