I cannot recommend Hampshire Endodontics highly enough. After a desperately unhappy experience with another local endodontist, I have felt in extremely safe hands with Peter Rafferty of Hampshire Endodontists. Not only is the receptionist in the Winchester clinic the friendliest and most delightful person I have come across in a very long time (perhaps a small point, but in public relations terms, hugely significant), but Peter, who has carried out various assessments and two root treatments for me, is clearly the endodontist of choice in Winchester and surrounds. He is incredibly knowledgeable and skillful and especially good at talking through issues, options and planned procedures with patients. I cannot hank him and the team enough.

I had a root canal treatment that was as perfect as it could be. The appointment was timely and efficient. Everything was explained to me at the initial consultation where every option, risks and benefits explained. I chose the root canal to save my tooth and protect against further infection. The procedure was completely pain free and an explanation given throughout so I felt very confident, relaxed and in good hands throughout. My tooth felt better immediately, although I was advised I might feel some discomfort the next day and need pain relief, I didn’t and have not had any issue since.

Absolutely fabulous service. Everyone was super helpful and accomodating. Premises is wheelchair accessible and help and ramps were readily provided. We were seen by Eamonn who was the kind of person you feel instantly confident with. He was kind, understanding, knowledgeable and calm. I would not hesitate to see him again. Top marks all round!

I don't write many reviews, but wanted to highlight the exceptional service I received at Hampshire Endodontics. I originally experienced problems with a painful/cracked tooth and was referred to Peter and his team in 2023. Peter suggested a root canal might fix the problem, but explained that based on his previous experience, he felt the work only had a 50/50 chance of providing a permanent solution. I decided to go ahead, despite the cost and the poor(ish) odds. During my 6 month follow-up appointment, I mentioned that the tooth was still a bit sensitive. Having looked at the X-rays Peter decided that he would try and improve the original root canal (at no extra charge) rather than give up on the tooth. I'm now a further 9 months down the road and very pleased to report that all is well. Whilst on the one hand some may view this as a fair outcome from an expensive procedure, I actually think it represents an exceptional level of service, and a clear commitment to delivering successful outcomes for patients, in particular noting how Peter went the extra mile to try and save my tooth (at no extra cost to me), rather than just taking the easy option and banking the money for the original work. Whilst it would be great to live in a world where this kind of thing happens more often, I think it's a rarity so thought I should highlight it for anyone who may be in need of treatment!

Emma and Manpreet went above and beyond in helping me when my local dental practice did not. I cannot recommend them enough, Manpreet always took the time to explain and allow me to ask questions, he was caring and kind throughout a situation that had left me feeling a bit anxious due to lack of care at my local dentist. Emma took charge of discussing with my dentist and coming up with a solution to help me, I am truly grateful. If only all dental professionals and their team were as brilliant! Thank you.
