We wanted a bespoke banquette for our dining area and Adam did an amazing job of designing, building and fitting it. He worked with us to put the design together but put his own unIque spin into the details of the banquette. He is very skilled at what he does and we are very happy with the final piece.

Adam is first class when it comes to bespoke woodwork. We could not rate his approach and professionalism more highly. Whatever your vision, he not only has the skill to perfectly understand it, but to also offer sensible suggestions based on his wealth of experience that results in a finished product that brings your ideas to life perfectly. Patient with evolving concepts and sympathetic to the desired aesthetic, we're delighted with every aspect of the work Adam has done for us. The final finish is immaculate!

Amazing work on our full wall fitted shelves from start to finish, Adam helped us with design and did all the hard work on this great build and installation. We're so happy with the results. The detail such as the soft close doors and the moveable shelves as well as the lights make all the difference. Already thinking about our next Boy on Branch project. Would recommend.

I commissioned a cabin bed, with a separate desk underneath, for my son. When it was finished, and in place, I had no idea it would be so AMAZING!!! I knew it would be good, but when I saw the lovely different textures and colours of the wood, the clever joints as the bed has no nails or screws-it looks so unique and beautiful, as does the desk. Adam listened to what we wanted, and added ideas of his own, I would definitely recommend and will ask him to make more things for us🙂

Luke is brilliant - flexible with options for when he could come over to do a job for us, and when it was more complicated than we initially thought, he didn't say "ooh no can't do that", he figured out how to make it work and the final product (door for humans and cat) looks great! What a pleasure it was to deal with this company. From the initial chat, to the final fit... The process was seamless.  We got a bespoke fitted dresser made. We had an awkward alcove in the bedroom. What Jake designed exceeded our expectations of what we thought was possible with the space. The quality and finish is incredible. Jake replaced our old inner window boards that had become extremely water damaged as well as adding new framework. He advised us on the best options and our windows now look amazing again! I was surprised at how quickly the work was done! Extremely quick and efficient but making sure the work is complete to the highest standard! I would recommend and definitely use Jake again for any other work we need doing. Thanks again Jake!

Jake from Coates Carpentry was an absolute professional, polite and very tidy, arriving on time each day, he dealt with all the irregularities of fitting doors to our 1930’s house. Jake also made a door for our under stairs cupboard perfectly to match the standard doors. I cannot recommend him enough, we are extremely impressed and very happy with the work he has carried out. When we need some more joinery we will definitely be calling Jake.

We had a custom shelving unit and coffee table made, as we loved the pieces we’d seen on instagram and really liked the idea of using reclaimed wood. Great communication the whole way through, and beautiful furniture! So happy with everything, would highly recommend.

We've been struggling off and on for a few years with coving that runs above some shelving either side of a chimney breast and eventually one section fell off completely. So we decided we had to resolve this once and for all, we'd seen some potential options online and started looking around for a suitable trade person to solve this problem. We eventually found Carl at Cookridge Carpentry and his response was prompt and positive. Following a couple of 'false starts' we finally hit on a solution that we could proceed with when he provided a rough dummy. Carl turned up when he said he would and grafted really hard to make sure we reached the result we were looking for. His work was very clean and tidy with little mess, which was surprising. He also spent plenty of time cleaning up after himself on both days. Both local and quality result... winner! We would have no hesitation in recommending Cookridge Carpentry for appropriate work, very professional throughout.

Two great lads. They did a fantastic job on our kitchen despite all the challenges that were thrown at them. Probably the most challenging kitchen renovation they have ever had to deal with. We have had ChristelBall Joinery to do quite a bit of work for us at our house since we moved and we can't speak highly enough of them. The quality of their craftsmanship is excellent and the price was very good. Friendly service,clean,tidy & always turn up on time. In the kitchen we had them fit our engineered oak flooring,tri-fold oak doors,cottage style oak pantry door,new skirting and architrave,stud work with over boarding to create 2nd level ceiling for the extension and finally fitting the new kitchen including solid oak work tops. They were also able to make us matching solid oak window sills to match the worktops. We think it looks great and have had so many positive comments on it from friends and neighbours. Since then they have been back again to build our chimney breast TV unit/wall,fitted units with oak tops in the alcoves either side and an oak shelf under the TV for our soundbar. New skirting all round and a second oak cottage style door with matching oak window sill was also fitted. They've really helped us realise what we wanted to do with the downstairs of our house and we can't recommend them highly enough. It looks better than we ever could have hoped for. Later this year we will be starting upstairs and will 100% be using ChristelBall joinery for our wardrobes and any other joinery work we need.

If you are thinking of any bespoke joinery work Simon is the best. Be prepared to wait as his diary is busy but he’s worth it. What a super tradesperson. Attention to detail, punctual, clean, tidy and a perfectionist. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely love our new oak and glass staircase. It’s made the hallway so much lighter and far more in keeping with the rest of the house. I also had another little job to do with an oak desk and this turned out better than I could have expected. From a big uncomfortable desk to a lovely cabinet for printer and office supplies and a new sit to stand desk. Belter of an up cycle and a quality finish.

Dan did an incredible job installing our understairs shoe storage and bar—10 out of 10! His attention to detail was second to none, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He even got on well with our cat, who constantly tried to "help" by getting in the way! After we painted the cupboards, Dan kindly popped back to fit the handles, which was much appreciated. We had five quotes for this job, and Dan delivered twice the work for half the price. Highly recommend!

Dan did such a fantastic job in our lounge, building us 2 beautiful alcove cupboards, 4 floating shelves and a superb fireplace surround and mantelpiece all in solid oak. We were so impressed that we also got him to make a bespoke unit for our vinyl and turntable.. Throughout the whole process, including navigating the covid lockdown, Dan gave us great ideas and guidance but really listened to what we wanted. He turned up when he said he would. He finished on time and was very competitively and fairly priced. Dan is also just a very nice guy who you feel confident about leaving in your house. We are so pleased with our built-in wardrobes designed and built by TDL Woodcraft. We finally have finished decorating and they finish off the whole look of the room. Thomas designed them to replace existing (very dated) fitted wardrobes, taking our needs into account to create a really useable and beautiful storage space for us. We were delighted to have TDL back after Thomas and his team fit new interior doors to our downstairs living area, including putting in and plastering a new wall to partition a previously open-plan area. Thomas and his team are considerate, polite, and tidy workers providing a fantastic finish to their work. We have very happily recommended them to friends and family needing joinery work.

Josh did our fitted bedroom with Howdens units. We are so pleased with it and with Josh’s work. He worked efficiently and left the area clean and tidy at the end of the day. Nothing was too much for him and he consulted us along the way when choices could be made about heights of wardrobe rails and shelves. The walls and floors in our bedroom are not level or straight but Josh managed to make everything fit and look perfect. He was very pleasant to work with and we would recommend him .

We have recently had Brooks Joinery convert our old kitchen into a dinning room. Our current kitchen was fitted by a well known company who had to make some adjustments to their original plans, but were unable to give three units a flush strait run because of the boiler. Josh was able to ensure the three units fitted flush and also ensure the boiler pipes were boxed in with some spare corian which the original fitter said couldn't be done. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Josh to anyone.

Josh was absolutely brilliant from start to finish . He fitted 6 doors to very lopsided frames and was so patient and keen to get the fittings right. He also made us a door from scratch and had good ideas for making the hinges work in an old frame . He was friendly and helpful and we would highly recommend him . Great job !

Excellent joinery - Tony built a toy storage book nook under our stairs, a bespoke fitted wardrobe and 3 floating shelves. The service was excellent, he created unique beautiful pieces with skill (especially in our uneven cottage) and he assembled and fitted them in just a few days. Friendly, professional. Tony fitted our kitchen a couple months ago and it's still my favourite room in the house. What we thought was a quick switcheroo when we bought our new home turned out to be a lot more work than planned. I am honestly still amazed at how much Tony did and how near and tidy his workmanship (especially considering he was flying solo).
