Richard (Claywood Joinery) recently fitted a new Kitchen, along with LVT flooring, skirting boards and a new fire door. Along every step of the way, Richard kept us up to date with how the works were progressing and costs. His attention to detail and calm methodical approach, combined with his extensive experience and high standards ensured that any unforeseen issues, e.g. uneven and wall were resolved. I would like to thank richard for sorting out some floorboards for me last minute as the previous plumbers had left them unsteady and broken in places. I had been let down by many joiners . I was worried about many potential damage being caused to ceiling downstairs etc and Richard was conscious of my concerns. He took his time and worked methodically and the floor board looks absolutely brilliant. The cost was fair to amount of work that was involved. Throughout the process Richard kept me involved as to what and how he was going to do next. As a person Richard is a lovely man to get on with ,honest and transparent and caring. He listens and takes notice of all the concerns and works with you.I hope to use Richard's services from now on and would genuinely highly reccomend him. Cant praise him enough. Our new staircase looks great. Chris was pleasant and efficient and said the time he would arrive and was spot on. I would recommend him and his team to anyone who likes a good job done and is clean and tidy about the house. He has done several other jobs for us such as hanging doors and lifting work surfaces. We have not found any fault since. We would highly recommend him.

High quality joinery We have used Martin Beardsall to replace all our old windows with double glazing in our small cottage. It was a challenging task particularly on a West window which previous joiners had tried and failed to rectify, water getting in and unsatisfactory quality. He came up with a fantastic revolving window using a Darwin hinge in an arched framed double glazed unit, it has always been a problem cleaning from outside, but hey presto, no more window cleaners walking on the kitchen roof to reach it. The joinery work on the front window was challenging because he modified the existing frame and created a far more aesthetically pleasing and functional window. We have found him and his staff a pleasure to have around and recently recommended him to our neighbours, who’ve been delighted with the work that has been done. Thanks Martin Alison and Linda
