We recently had JK Joinery & Construction in to refurb our bathroom. From start to finish, Keith and Kieran were excellent and we will definitely be using them for all future projects. Their workmanship is second to none, with every last detail considered and executed to the highest standard. They worked very efficiently and were very communicative throughout. The house was kept tidy each day and where possible, they made the bathroom usable each evening for us. We really can’t recommend them highly enough!

Nathan replaced 4 internal doors for me as well as designing and making a door for the understairs cupboard. The work was extremely well done. Nathan was professional and kept disruption to a minimum. He made sure to clear up at the end of the day. I will certainly use his services again and would recommend him as a reliable and competent tradesperson.

I cannot rate Eastridge Carpentry highly enough. They are friendly, professional and super helpful. Nathan advised me where needed and his wealth of experience really made me feel comfortable in knowing I was in the best hands. Clive has created some bespoke cupboards in my cottage and I am delighted with the result. The cupboards fit seamlessly into the space and the oak top is stunning. Clive’s attention to detail and level of craftmanship is of a very high standard. A brilliant carpenter!

Clive has put his professional, expert carpentry skills to work for approx. 4 years now while I have been renovating my home. He has installed new floorboards, skirting boards, interior of toilet (under stairs), window sills, fixed original wooden doors that had been damaged and so much more. I would recommend Clive 100%.

Toby not only installed but designed the wardrobes 5 in total in our main bedroom. 2 concealed an old fireplace, one was massive (80x80cm), a two formed a walk-in wardrobe with automatic lights, he then built 2 bedside cabinets to our exact specification (185cm apart) to fit our super king sized bed, together with panelling behind it! Looks magnificent!

Toby designed and fitted some beautiful cupboards for us. We Have been using them for 6 months now, can tell the quality is good- absolutely no problems. Brilliant communication and also allowed us to change the design (from shaker style to a more traditional finish) at last minute which didn’t affect the final quote.

Toby and his colleague Aaron replaced all of our old internal doors with 13 new oak doors which have transformed the look of our house. Toby was very responsive to questions before the work and was the only provider I asked to quote who responded quickly in fact within 24 hours. He suggested slightly different doors to those I proposed which while of the same quality were slightly cheaper. The work was undertaken in a very professional manner and we are very pleased with the outcome and in fact are considering having further work done by Militao Carpentry. They were happy working round our inquisitive dogs, protected the carpets, cleared up at the end of each day (the work took a week) and were always polite and flexible. I would happily recommend.

St Marks PTA would like to thank Dan for volunteering his time to rebuild and re-roof a donated shed acquired to sell preloved uniform. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him at all!

Dan did our utility extension last year and I cannot recommend both him as a consummate professional, as well as the quality of his work, enough. Dan guided us through the build excellently and always kept us up to date with timings, costings, extras. We've already booked him in for the next project! 11 Stars!!

Dan has completed and led a "whole house" refurbishment and remodel for us, from loft to garage and garden, no part untouched! The quality of the work and his approach have been first class throughout. Many great ideas, always consults carefully, and always takes great pride in the final finish. JJ Carpentry replaced casements in two of the windows in our Victorian house. Neither window was straightforward- one had two curved sections of glass and the other was in a very dubious state after previous repair attempts. At every stage of the process the communication we received was clear and, as the work progressed, Alan advised where extra repairs were necessary and why. We are really pleased with the finished work and would not hesitate to use JJ Carpentry again.

We had a small but complex project. We are also exacting clients but were delighted with the professionalism, project management and quality of the work by Beco Carpentry. Ben and his team were a pleasure to work with, who were polite, friendly and diligent. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to others.

We used Beco Carpentry for a three story side extension, starting in May 2023 and completing the week before Christmas. Ben and his team are hugely knowledgeable and very skilled - they are true carpenters and hugely competent. Our project was quite big and long but the team were fun to have around and very respectful of our home. Ben was on hand to answer our questions with patience and when we encountered inevitable hiccups, we would work together to find a solution. Ben has struck gold with Adam and Jake who were on site every day - they are a credit to Ben’s business. Communication was good and Ben’s wife Laura sent regular payment schedule updates which kept us on track. I have already recommended Beco to several others and would not hesitate to use them again. We had a great experience working with Ben, Laura and the Beco team when they did a ground floor extension and added upstairs dormers to our property. They were a pleasure to have around which was important considering we were living at the house whilst the work was happening. We really felt we could trust them and we were very happy with the work. So much so that we approached Ben again to put in a double garage for us most recently. I had an very loud staircase that would squeak on almost every step. Pete came round to provide a quote, inspected the staircase and walked me through the process on fixing it. He turned up promptly on the day and completed the work by lunch. The stairs are now squeak free. He followed up later that day to ensure I was happy and even offered a follow up visit if there were any issues. Great work, thanks Pete!
