We used Beco Carpentry for a three story side extension, starting in May 2023 and completing the week before Christmas. Ben and his team are hugely knowledgeable and very skilled - they are true carpenters and hugely competent. Our project was quite big and long but the team were fun to have around and very respectful of our home. Ben was on hand to answer our questions with patience and when we encountered inevitable hiccups, we would work together to find a solution. Ben has struck gold with Adam and Jake who were on site every day - they are a credit to Ben’s business. Communication was good and Ben’s wife Laura sent regular payment schedule updates which kept us on track. I have already recommended Beco to several others and would not hesitate to use them again. We’re delighted with the house and made 100% the right choice in appointing Beco. Thank you to everyone!

We used Beco Carpentry for our 2 storey rear extension and are very pleased with the end result. The job involved a variety of disciplines, concrete base, brick&block ground floor walls, stud&panel 1st floor walls, pitched roof, flat roof. Beco had a good range of skills internally, but importantly brought in the right external specialists where necessary. The budget varied as the situation evolved during the build but Beco communicated and explained the necessary modifications well. Easy to contact, and worked solid days throughout.

We had a small but complex project. We are also exacting clients but were delighted with the professionalism, project management and quality of the work by Beco Carpentry. Ben and his team were a pleasure to work with, who were polite, friendly and diligent. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to others.

I cannot recommend Dan highly enough! He has just finished a fantastic home garden office and composite decking to an extremely high standard. His ideas and advice on materials, budget, layout, and finish throughout the project were excellent and I am so pleased with my new office, thank you so much Dan!

Dan has completed and led a "whole house" refurbishment and remodel for us, from loft to garage and garden, no part untouched! Clive has created some bespoke cupboards in my cottage and I am delighted with the result. The cupboards fit seamlessly into the space and the oak top is stunning. Clive’s attention to detail and level of craftmanship is of a very high standard. A brilliant carpenter!

Clive has put his professional, expert carpentry skills to work for approx. 4 years now while I have been renovating my home. He has installed new floorboards, skirting boards, interior of toilet (under stairs), window sills, fixed original wooden doors that had been damaged and so much more. I would recommend Clive 100%.

Clive designed and installed a solution to reduce the draft from the third floor loft space for me. The quality of his work, the originality in his design and his unbelievable work ethic was just fantastic. Totally recommend Clive - a great find!

Brooks & Co are absolutely brilliant and I would 100% recommend them if you're looking for a firm who are not only very, very good at what they do, but also care about their clients. We approached them about converting our garage into a soundproof music studio for my band to rehearse in / home office space for my wife and it's just been completed a few weeks ago. We couldn't be happier with the results. The quality of the work Sam and his team carried out is outstanding, both in terms of the technical spec of the project being met and the craftmanship and finish of the work itself. Sam, Martin, Joel and Matt are all exceptional at what they do and thoroughly nice people too. The same for the electricians and air-con company they worked with to complete those aspects of the project. Having the Brooks & Co team working on our property didn't feel like an imposition at all - they were always incredibly polite, respectful and involved us in every decision that needed our input. And if they had any ideas that differed from our original spec slightly, they were excellent at making suggestions in a way that helped us to understand why it may be better to take a different approach to a particular aspect of the job. Sam's attention to detail during the quote phase made the final build so much easier to envisage in advance and his research into the soundproofing side of things was exactly what was needed to ensure we ended up with something that did the job it was meant to do. I can think of very few times in my lifetime where I've been so blown away by every aspect of dealing with a business as I have been during our experience with Brooks & Co. Using a company we had never dealt with before for such a big project was potentially a risk, but from the moment Sam first came round to quote, we felt in really safe hands and like we were dealing with people who really care about what they do. 100% recommended and will definitely be using them again. Brooks & Co developments have recently completed a garage conversion at our family home in Tonbridge. Sam from the get go has been very informative and very helpful not only with the technical side of the building project but also the design stage. His team work to a very high standard with cleanliness at the top of their minds. The cleanest builder we have ever had do work for us. The project was completed on time and within the price agreed. I cannot fault Sam and his team. Will definitely be using brooks & co for all our home projects.

Right from the beginning of the project, Sam was super helpful, professional, quick to respond to our many questions and helped us in suggesting alternative materials and finishes if anything we’d asked for was beyond budget. He came to visit us on a number of occasions before the project started to go through everything in detail even though we don’t live that close. Given it was the first time we’d undertaken such a big project, all the extra effort was really appreciated. We felt very reassured and in safe hands. The quality of work was way beyond our expectations. All the team – Joel, Matt, Martin, the plasterers and Joe and Stephen the electricians, did a fantastic job. They would always ask us for our input and would make useful suggestions of the best way to do things if they had an alternative approach that would improve the outcome. We couldn’t believe how clean and tidy they were. All very lovely, friendly guys to have around too! You always hear stories builders producing unexpected costs or projects overrunning so we had thought that there might be a little of that but it was completed exactly as per the quote and timetable which was a massive added bonus. Excellent garage conversion! Having had a bathroom refit done by another company a couple of years ago which didn’t go to plan, working with Brooks and Co was a refreshing change for the better. Excellent communication from the initial contact stage, through quoting and the project management itself. The time taken at quoting to measure and discuss options meant that the project ran smoothly even when the doors were delivered incorrectly. All contractors were punctual, efficient and courteous, and the level of workmanship is top notch. Would not hesitate to recommend and use again. These guys show how it should be done.
