So good, we've had him twice!!
A good tradesman is hard to find when it comes to knowledge, capability, enthusiasm for the job, and value for money. Mike delivers on all these areas, and discusses each stage of the project to deliver (in my experience) beyond what you would expect.
I have had Mike in my house twice this year. Once on a major refurbishment project, which transformed the core section of the house : Hallway / Stairs / Landing, and included : completely replacing the front door and frame, entirely replacing the banister, constructing an under stairs storage area, lowering and insulating the landing ceiling, and replacing most of the doors & frames in the house, plus fitting all the skirting boards.
We planned to sell, but feel so at home that we asked Mike back to remodel our third bedroom, which involved constructing a loft bed in a very confined space, which now feels spacious! If you want someone to turn your vision into reality, without breaking the bank, look no further.

We really don't know how to thank Mike. Giving a 5* review just doesn't seem enough. Mike did work on our staircase few yrs ago & he was so meticulous, we said we would NEVER look for another joiner.
We decided to have a new kitchen a good while ago, but due to his backlog of work due to the Pandemic we were happy to wait, not once, did we think about finding a different joiner. We're SO happy we waited. He's come up with a few tips & ideas to give us more space, which the kitchen company who planned the kitchen didn't. He came up with a great idea to make the hob area a feature- it looks fantastic! He has gone above & beyond our expectations. He is so courteous, never leaves without tidying up, no matter what time it is. He only has another day here to go, but really wanted to put this review on. Will update with pics when finished. Contacted Mike to provide a quote for some internal wooden doors. He came down and measured up and gave us a trade book to look through. Really nice guy, very knowledgeable and professional. He gave us a quote which was really well priced. He fitted us in after a few weeks later and got 6 internal doors fitted along with hinges, locks and handles.

He completed the job whilst we were in work so he is very trustworthy. The work was completed to a very high standard. He is very tidy and took time to clean up.

I would 100% recommend using Mike for any joinery needs and would go to him again if I needed anything in the future. Top bloke.

We have had our internal doors changed, Mike did an amazing job and worked tirelessly for two days. He was very professional and knowledgeable and we couldn't be happier with his work. He turned up when he said he would and was punctual. We totally recommend his services.
