Simon did the most incredible job for us, designing and building a desk unit with shelving, salvaging our wardrobes by creating a beautiful new look and building a bespoke shelf unit. This is the second time we have worked with Adrian and team, and we couldn’t recommend them more. They created 2 sets of alcove wardrobes for us this time and they are absolutely perfect. Communication around planning was great, the wardrobes are beautifully made and were installed quickly on site - even with some space challenges due to building work (sorry!). We’re so delighted with the finished wardrobes and will definitely use Adrian again for future projects.

I wanted a low wall faced on two sides with a length of oiled oak.The work undertaken by Adrian and his team was immaculate. The wood was carefully prepared and cut to provide a perfect fit. It was exactly what I wanted and the work was completed with the minimum of fuss. Even the clean up was spot on! Probably a smaller job than usually undertaken so I was very impressed by their professionalism and speed. Thank you!

This was the 3rd project we did with Adrian and Co. This was a bespoke TV unit and wall shelves - and we couldn't be more satisfied with the final delivery. Adrian was always available to come around and bounce some ideas back and forth; and even creating real life mock ups - all to make sure we were getting what we were looking for. We will definitely continue working with the Borkwood team! July 2024 update: One more project with Adrian and the team. Again extremely happy with the results! Wardrobe, and a desk + drawers/bench, with shelves added. Super easy to work with: allow for discussion and exchange of ideas, mock ups, and reviews until the design is just right. Execution is flawless. Thank you guys again!

From start to finish we had a wonderful experience working with Pete, Adrian & the team. We collaborated on a design for the kitchen and we were offered excellent suggestions and solutions to what we wanted. They were very easy to work with always offered us clear and transparent advice on pricing and timeframes throughout. The team provided the highest level of attention to detail on each aspect of the project. We were blown away! We're looking forward to working with them again in the future.

After initially asking EJ Ryder to build us a TV cabinet, they have since been back to create a bespoke dining table, fitted loft wardrobes, built in shelving for our kitchen, clever storage based stairs for our basement, a recycled yoghurt pot vanity unit for the bathroom, new doors for our living space and a set of birch ply shelves for our new baby. I keep coming back as it's fun to co-create furniture with Edwin & the team, there are no nasty surprises and I know I will get something that I really love. I wouldn't use anybody else!

We needed our drawers re-done in our wardrobes. It was a very bespoke project as we didn't need something built from scratch, but within an already built structure. It was wonderful working with Solid Carpentry, and the final product was beautiful! Dmitriy was attentive to all the special adjustments we wanted for our drawers and patient if we changed our minds on some details. Solid Carpentry used high-quality materials and did a great paint job. We love our drawers!!

Solid Carpentry designed and installed a custom, built-in bookcase with a hidden door for me. Dmitriy was responsive, open & clear about what to expect (including considerations we had not thought of), took a lot of care and demonstrated real pride in his work - which made the whole process very enjoyable. Dmitriy and his team are first class. I would highly recommend using Solid Carpentry for any of your requirements. He helped us design the perfect living room and storage in our small porch area. Everything was built to measure in his workshop and brought to our home and fitted in a very efficient manor. We love the final result and his attention to detail is impeccable.

Really good for a lovely day out walking along the canal from Queen Elizabeth Olympic park to Lee Valley Centre.This area is surrounded by well manicured lawns with plenty of seating & refreshment outlets. Make it ideal for family n friends outing.

The original bridge 1933-4 on the “Bow Back Rivers” a network of channels linked to the River Lee. The original gantries, ramps and lock house were demolished over the years with new radial risings gates installed in 2016. This stretch of the park alongside the canal arteries makes for a pleasant stroll with interesting bridges, roads set at different elevations.

A lovely day out walking along the canal from Queen Elizabeth Olympic park to Lee Valley Ice Centre. Carpenters Road Lock has well defined pathways and is surrounded by well manicured lawns. There is plenty of seating available too as well as a number of refreshment outlets. A great place to start a family walk or walk with friends. Highly recommended.

Such a wicked walk. About 10mins away from Stratford Station but feel like your in a complete different place. I loved walking around there with the kids. Ended up doing like 25000 steps.

Been to the Capenters 2 times on seprate occasions.. Once before a home game and once after. Had an excellent time both times. Staff friendly and do well when it's packed out. Would definalty recomend.

🚇Stratford 🍺 £4.30 Amstel A Popular West Ham Match Day Pub. The Carpenters Arms is located at the edge of Queen Elizabeth Park in Stratford, East London. The nearest Tube Station is Stratford. The original Carpenters Arms was located close by and built in 1867. The pub you see today was built in 1965. This is a decent size one bar boozer that is set out in an ‘L’ shape. The decor is traditional with plenty of seating around the perimeter. The servery stretches down the length of the bar and is clad in dark wood panels with a matching counter and back bar. Around the walls is a variety of West Ham memorabilia including posters, signs and a Bobby Moore mural. This pub boasts a pool table, dartboard, TV screens and of course a fruity. To the side of the pub is a large outside beer garden that has lots of benches. The beer line up was all keg and included a selection of mainstream brews. I decided on an Amstel, my pint hit the spot, price point was excellent at just over four quid. There is no food menu available here. We arrived around 4.30pm on a mild Friday afternoon in February. The pub was fairly quiet with a few other punters dotted about. The atmosphere was chilled and relaxed with a local pub vibe. My partner in crime this day was @scottyboy71 who has visited this pub many times on his way to see West Ham. He mentioned that pub gets absolutely packed on match days and is a favourite amongst Hammers fans. The service was great, we received a warm welcome from the Lady behind the ramp. Unlike the pubs in Plaistow and East Ham, The @carpentersarmsstraford has greatly benefited from the West Ham move. That said, this is a solid local boozer that is a nice place to spend time in and has plenty on offer to keep you entertained. Stratford Community Centre The work they do its amazing. Its so sad their way of applying as a violent its complicated. They provide all sort of help to the community. Hoping to work there one day. Erick was able to have a shower after a long time for FREE. They give towel, shower gel, shaving staff and clean clothes for FREE GOD SAVE ENGLAND
