Paul and his team went over and above to sort out my ruined engine. Other garages tried to fix it without realising that the engine was shot. Quick diagnosis from Paul that we needed a replacement engine. Even helped us source a replacement when the 1st replacement turned out to be no good. Despite all the pain we have suffered Paul did all he could and more to help us get back on the road as quickly as possible. So helpful and reasonable and straight talking down to earth mechanic who tells it as it is. Give him a try you wont be disappointed 👍

After my son's car was diagnosed by another garage with head gasket failure who said they didn't do that type of repair I phoned Doncaster Road Garage and spoke to Paul the owner. He told me they did head gasket repairs and to pop it over to have a look and confirm that it was definitely that. So I took it in and it wasn't the head gasket but a leaking thermostat housing plus another couple of bits that the first garage didn't mention so I asked him to carry out the work. The following day everything had been done and probably saved my son £2000 for a repair it didn't need. My son and myself and my wife will be taking our cars there from now on and I would definitely tell my family and friends to use Paul's garage for anything to do with their vehicles. Excellent service, friendly and very reasonably priced. Our car broke down in whitby and we had to get towed back home, we asked to be taken straight to the garage thinking we'd leave it outside overnight and ask the next day if they could fit us in, he seen tow truck outside (late Sunday evening) he came out and opened gate to bring the car in, then fixed it the next day. My husband also takes his work vans here, i wouldn't go anywhere else! 😬

I had to have my car recovered to the garage after another local mechanic misdiagnosed an issue with my timing belt which led to a breakdown. Paul dealt with it all within a week and kept the price of repairs as low as possible, the car now runs perfectly and I will definitely be taking it back there in the future.
